Mildly interesting, thought I'd post
I was wondering how much the Chiltern £6 to Birmingham Fare is now, but found £6.40 on the 13:36 on 14th August so 40p increase over a decade isn’t so bad.
I got a promotional fare for £3.20 in January 2023.

the 255 has still adverts from the 2012 t mobile/orange thing that was going on
I thought I was literally the only one who noticed that, I stay on the 255 to it’s full route to Pollards Hill, and one day I was bored saw them and thought “aren’t T Mobile and Orange both gone?”.
yes haha! i have to take the whole route too right down to pollards and i thought the design of the ads looked old and lo and behold.. 2012’s finest
Last time I checked there was a poster for The Aftermath on Stratford station (visible from trains arriving on the main line into London). Film released in 2019. Considering what people must pay for those advertising slots, I was surprised.
I noticed this too! I read on this sub that it's because that specific poster aspect ratio isn't used anymore. It's an odd square-ish shape.
Well, that makes a certain amount of sense. You'd think they'd replace the frame, or something.

I was on the bus a few weeks ago and was surprised to see adverts for Don't Look Up which was released in Dec 2021, so not that long ago but there were 8 posters all down one side, basically a whole side takeover.

Maybe they aren't paying for the spots any more but the bus advert people haven't had anything else to replace them.
