So I've been trying to scan the codes on the boxes to get the extra points and the last ones haven't worked. Anyone else having issues? How did you fix it?
You don’t even need the app. The QR code will open the browser and you can log into Lego account
Aren‘t they on the instruction / manual folder?
That's a survey and it doesn't work either
I don’t think surveys give you extra points.
You have to scan the QR code on the front of the instruction manual. Not every instruction manual has this, however.
As everyone is telling you. It’s on the manual. Not every set has them. If it does, then it’s usually on the bottom right corner of the front cover.
Yes. But not the code on the box the code on the manual. I can Confirm that I tried to do it Thursday and it didn’t work. If it’s a fairly new feature to do that scanning and linking it to your account via the builder app it’s maybe just buggy. But it happened to me Thursday evening. I scanned a ton of sets weeks ago and it worked fine. Then Thursday it just sent me to this Lego landing page where nothing happened.
See I've never used the builder app. I just scanned and it opens to Legos page. And the QR Code I found was on the box but on an inside flap
Gotcha. if you have the builder app you detour thru there (it also acts as pulling up instructions) then you hit the “register set” and it brings you to the browser. So one extra step but you end up on a browser page to finish the process. But this week it didn’t work for me like it did a coupe weeks ago 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you guys for the help, and I'm not sure what the 7 are about.
The ones I did today were pretty new: they were both brick head sets (Groot and the Up set). The Up set had the code on the inside of the box flap and the manual; the Groot one was on the manual, and none of them worked. I tried with husband's phone on the Up brick heads, and the box didn't work, but the manual openrd a satisfaction survey.
This also happened on a few Harry Potter sets I've gotten since Christmas so they're not older models that don't have the codes.
The QR code on the flap is for internal control. You can’t read it and there’s nothing there saying it’s a survey. It’s just a code on a black background.
The one for points is definitely on the instruction manual. If it was on the box anyone could scan it without buying it. If it's not working for you, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Make sure you're signed in first before trying to scan.
