I (16) built this in 16 hours and 40 minutes!
LEGO® Set BuildYeah when the box said 5 feet (152 cm) I didn’t believe it but I’m 5’3” (160 cm) and yeah it’s massive
I have the Concorde and Saturn V and I already have difficulties finding a spot for them. Where will you put the Eiffel Tower ?
In the first picture, the corner to my left is where I put it, but if you have any spaces between windows those are also great spaces!
I just tried to do a 1700 piece technic set in 24 hours and only finished 2/3. 16 hours with that many pieces is insane!
16 hours for the Eiffel Tower is insane but man technic is a different beast. I can’t image doing a technic build with as many pieces, would take me weeks.
I find technic builds to be much slower, think when I did the GT3 RS it was something like 14 hours and the lambo was 18 or something like that
It’s a repetitive set so if you know you need to do one thing a million times it can get faster, technically is another animal as you know
That being said, still fast as hell and I bet an awesome 16hrs of fun!
Rookie times, i did the bugatti in 8
Lmao 7.9 buddy.
Good job!
You gonna add some Olympic rings?
Maybe I will now! Thanks for the idea
... Holy cow, I had no idea how big that thing actually was...
There was a very brief window where my LEGO store had it on display and I guess it released at the end of the year so I wasn’t in there much, probably avoiding the Christmas crowds
But i did make a point to go see it in person
that’s pretty tall
Hope you didn't build it IN France in one shot as that would be a clear violation of working too long in one day...probably a whole week?
Lego is way too expensive to rush the build imo. I sure take my time
Either the Eiffel Tower is high or you are very short
Totally awesome! Good for you!
Tres Bien!
Merci!
I’m out of French, but this set is awesome. I just don’t have the room for it. Do you have the mini Paris Skyline? It would look neat next to this in my opinion.
Sadly I don’t have the mini Paris skyline, I might get it now
It’s not bad, but the mini Eiffel Tower, Louvre, and Arch De Triumph are really good.
It's not a race, people.
Well done, though.
I mean it’s whatever people want it to be
I think this would be a cool subset of Lego masters though. MOC is badass but they could do some popular sets as a speed challenge for some advantage. I bet they’d sell lots of the sets. “Okay, you do Rivendel’s roof, I’ve got the rest.)
I love the building, and once I get going, I don't want to slow down because I'm enjoying it! I built my Eiffel Tower in just under 14 hours (across 3 days IIRC).
Then I also raised mine up a bit; it's in a room corner and I was concerned that my Roomba would drive up on the corner and topple it, so I got some more black bricks from Bricklink and raised it up two extra bricks.
At one of the brick shows my local LUG put on they did have an event where two teams were racing to build this set as fast as possible. So it's not always a race, but we don't know the context. People build how they want.
It's definitely a race. What race would it be? Black? White? Nah, LEGO is the race.
I might need one of those
I didn't realize just how massive that set was, holy cow!
My brain was like "what's on that shelf behind to the left" but after zooming in its just the box for the set lol.
Also that's a massive box
I kinda want this set, but I'm waiting to find it at a deep discount. I'll definitely take longer to build it, lol. Great job!
IM JELLY
Reminds me of when I built the og tower in 11 hours, but used so not sorted in bags. I’d love to give this one a try
So you took your time?
At 25 i built my first Eiffel tower.
Damn that build is tall, as tall as you.
I (16) doesn’t have the money to built this.
your poor fingers 😭
My longest continuous building session was 10 hours, during which I assembled two sets from the LEGO street view series. To finish such a large set in just 16 hours is truly astonishing. Amazing! 🤓
What are the sets from Street View? I don’t remember that series :0
My English is not very good, sorry. I think it should be the 10251 Brick Bank and the 10264 Corner Garage. That was at least 7 years ago when I made them, haha
Oh, nice! Thank you! 😄
You look very happy with it.
Well done!
She looks like she’s turning into Lego herself with that yellow face😁
One of my dream sets, but have no idea where I would display it! Also I have a cat lol
Not bad. I (18) built the UCS Millennium Falcon in 15 hours and 32 minutes.
Adorable!!
It looks great! But word of warning, be very careful moving that thing, even with the separate sections it still is VERY fragile. I learned this lesson the hard way and haven’t rebuilt it since
Très bien, bien faire!
Merci!
That’s about the time it took me to build the McLaren F1 2022. 😄 But to be fair, it was my first build ever and had to take it apart at some point due to a mistake. Well done!
I bought the Sydney opera house several years ago but life keeps getting in the way 😩
La construction a du être très longue et laborieuse, bravo . Le tout est amélioré par l’émoji que tu t’es mit dessus 😄
Merci! Je suis très heureuse!
Was super glue involved? Those arches are ridiculous
Nope no super glue all Lego!
Great job! I would love to have that, but the house is full of LEGOs as it is.
Nice smile😁
I so want this but I have 5 dogs who manage to slam into everything and my house is not big enough to designate a room that they won’t have access to
Stunning building skills, ideation & quickness. Amazing to say the least.
I hope that You & Your Family have an amazing week ahead.
Now comes the hard part, where to put it?
I put it behind me to my left
How do you even move that thing around?
Wow that’s crazy
Nice tall pointy thingy!
Oh damn
Congrats ! Currently working working k. 76419 (Hogwarts castle and grounds) and daaamn. 2660 pieces. Done 4/22 bags in almost 5 hours. With this pace eifell tower will take me around 3-4 weeks :D
The box said 18+, so you didn't take long enough to build it and therefore the set will be confiscated
W
So much talk about how long sets take people. Here I am doing most sets in one day (obviously while doing other things throughout my day) the only sets that take me 2-3 days are the HUGE ones. The Eiffel Tower took about 12 hours of actual build time.
All the big Technic cars are around 3-4 hours.
The new Artemis rocket took 5.5 hours.
Maybe the more you build the faster you get? Lol
Wow, that’s impressive! Notre-Dame de Paris next?
I did the Lego technic f1 mclaren in 6 hours and I usually think I’m fast but those 1400 technic pieces were a beast compared to normal lego
That’s insane! I build Lego super fast too. I build my Star Wars UCS sets in less than 24 hours. But this is crazy!! Congrats!
Miss, you are so gorgeous! Just as gorgeous as this tower
The world record for the ucs millennium falcon is 17 hours and 43 minutes with a team of 4 placing 12 pieces a second, how in the universe did you do that on your own
Don't actually lean on it pls
I didn’t actually I had my arm behind it, so it looked like was leaning on it
That was one of the worst sets I have done. It's crazy how you could persevere. It took me something like six months because I had to take weeks off from the insane monotony and boredom. All the credit to you!! Congratulations!
Touch grass nerd. Just kidding! Congrats?
Did this happen on dress down Wednesday though? 🤔
Nope this happened on sweats Sunday
You are 24 minutes too late…
That must have been so weird, finishing a Lego set standing up
You are too young for carpel tunnel.
Ew France.
Grow taller
The Eiffel Tower is massive.
