I forgot that I had put red lipstick in my pocket before putting my sweater in the wash. It got all over my clothes, so how do I get it out properly? Thank you!

if it hasnt been dried you need to go about it as two separate things, in the stain there will be an oil layer, a pigment layer and then another oil layer. Here is the section of my upcoming book about this:
Oily Organic and Inorganic Stains
Oily organics are things like barbecue sauce or sweat stains, and oily inorganics are generally cosmetics like lipstick.
All oily stains whether they’re organic or inorganic in nature are best treated by first dealing with the oil. As oils often surround other staining substances, we’ll be looking at these stains sort of like a stain sandwich that is oil layer, stain layer, oil layer.
To remove the first oil layer, fill a spray bottle with a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water. Spray the oil layer of the stain and then blot, scrub gently with a stain brush, or soft toothbrush.
Next, apply a bit of water along with laundry detergent, washing soda, or a laundry soap bar and scrub again to deal with the main stain layer and for the final oil layer, spray again with your water and vinegar solution and blot or scrub a final time.
To finish, wash as normal with the optional addition of sodium percarbonate.
