37k fully remote vs 49k in office additional tasks

How the hell u paying bills on 37k a year?

It’s over a 30% increase in pay. That’s a massive pay bump. I’d take it.

I'd be taking the 49k job if it is only a small commute.

WFH is great and everyone loves it, but I think you would be better off taking the extra cash while it is available. Companies can end WFH at any time, and vice versa your new job might bring it in.

Extra work just means the day goes faster.

How much is your time worth? With all that extra free time can you use it to earn more than 1k a month? If so then take it. Maybe you can find another remote? or work on skills and get better pay?

I'd say keep the remote job and try to work your way up. 13k is negligible in the long run if you're already frugal. See if your company will pay for an MBA, take on extra proces improvement projects, and network internally.

I did the above, was promoted to this brand new role, got a 10% raise with 25k commission, and I still work remote. I basically went from a boring admin job to working directly under the director with only a small increase in work load.

I would never go from full remote to full time office unless the pay was 2x higher.

Pretty sure if u go to ur boss and tell him/her that you got offered 49k they will match it or at the very least give u something to compensate it.

Do you want to go down the management route? Take the lead role. Otherwise: Double the work load without a long term strategy is imho not worth it.
