How is it adjusting the mountain? I understand that there are now less root systems there but you can still see rows of trees in between the panels.
Less tree cover is giving a degradation of Soil structure, less water holding capacity, increase run off from Panels and less leafs To reduce rain water intensity, less Evatransportation through trees , high mean temperature, higher evaporation after rainfall, Less groundwater recharge . More land shifts.
And this is only a global approach. Nothing taken into account about the ecosystem on a mountain
This is why environmental impact studies are important. To weigh the risks for an installation like this vs the potential benefits of having a green energy supply. To build something like this without any consideration would be very reckless. I think we can both agree on that.
I have conducted those studies before. And yes, they are very important.but quality difference is enormous and is strongly related to a decisive government
