Hey y’all! Just looking for some encouragement. I think I’m following my predicted of getting a 4 in physics and all of this year my grades of 95s from grade 10 and 9 have dropped to like 80s and some even 70s like in math :( I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I really want to get a good final total of something around 38 ~ 40 and I need to get at least 3 7’s 😭 any advice?? Did anyone go through a similar experience through trying hard and not finding results? trust me I’ve done all my searching over the internet and with physical resources like tutors etc but nothing seems to be giving that spark
Hey there, im an M24 student here. I was in the same situation like you. In g11, my physics was averaging at a 3 or 4, and in G12 im averaging at a 7. The point is that you still have time to improve and dont be too hard on yourself. I found that being confident in what i know helps me improve my grades since I was able to think clearly during the test. My tips for scoring better in physics is to learn the different types of questions that they ask from past papers, and make sure you check the syllabus in what you are learning. I dont study from textbooks since they have too much information that is not necessary. The more past paper practice you do, the easier it will get. You got this, i believe in you!
Had the exact same experience ur not alone! Just finished the IB program confident with my exams. I think for some subjects like physics and math the best thing to do is invest money into Revision Village. It really helped me out when it came to practicing questions and not wasting time finding answers to them. Best of luck!

It's based on IB Physics, but the study strategy could be applied to the subjects too.
