Take a razor one of the side ways ones, use some cleaner so you don’t cringe beyond belief, and just scrape it off keep the blade flat against the glass. And then look into your water softener so it don’t happen again

Magic Eraser

Don't know what kind of store cleaner you've tried, but you need something specific for limescale.

Apply liberally and let it sit 10min, then scrub with a soft scouring pad (like the "gritty" part of a dish sponge).

Repeat until it's gone.

It might take a while, but it will go eventually if it's glass.

My cleaning lady uses Pledge for what it's worth, doors are spotless.

That’s due to hard water, try Dawn and vinegar!

I mix 1/2 vinegar warmed in the microwave, and half Dawn dish soap (has to be the blue one)….spray it on and leave it for a couple of hours or overnight, then use a magic eraser (won’t even have to scrub) and I kid you not, it basically melts all soap scum off. Works amazing.

Vinegar. It’s a build up of high base minerals and low base solutions will cut it.

Fill a spray bottle with vinegar, then squirt some Dawn dish soap in there (squeeze the dish soap for about 3 seconds) and shake. Spray that on, leave a couple minutes, then spray on more, then scrub and rinse. If that smell is too strong for you, the wide-spray Scrubbing Bubbles is another choice.

I’ve tried several methods to clean shower glass like this. “Lime Away” has been one of the most effective cleaners. “Kaboom”, “Comet”, and “Barkeepers Friend” also work, but not as well. Using a razor blade to scrape it off works well, but it’s time consuming and you risk scratching the glass.

Comet on a wet rag and a little elbow grease.

You have to let the vinegar water sit on it for like 15 min and then firmly wipe it off with a rag

Your looking for a product that says removes limescail. I use toilet bowl cleaner because it stays in place while you scrub Instead of running down

Mix vinegar and dish soap in a spray bottle. Spray and let it soak. Use a soft brush attachment on your drill on the area.

Use WD-40, spray and clean right out.

I would try a ceramic coating

It’s an automotive paint protector, apply it to the door and I’m thinking you got at least six months if not a year. You’re supposed to do your car just before winter because it protects the paint, they say it last year. Go on YouTube and look up ceramic paint coating.
