I'm a newer goalie (2 or 3 years of playing goalie) and have been playing in beginner/D league level play.

I became one of the better goalies so I wanted to try and play in a C game and got absolutely crushed. It felt like every shot was just a blur.

Up close I was fine and made a bunch of saves but after the first period the other team noticed I had issues tracking the shots and just started letting them fly and a 2-1 game quickly turned into a 7-2 ass whooping.

I never really played baseball beyond middle school so I don't have a sense of how to get my eyes to adjust to the new speed. Is it something you can learn or is it possible I just can't move up and should stay in the lower levels?
