Mine is Fred and George Weasley taking turns with polyjuice potion.
Hahah. He was pretending to be a "lovable stray" when he was hiding out in GoT so I'm guessing yes
Hm….well has anyone ever let him in their bed as a pet???
Love potion is wizard rape drug
Just how many students did Madam Pomfry have to heal after they used Engorgio on their chest/junk/rear.
The fact Dumbledore, one of the main heroes of the series, used to get it on with a genocidal psychopath
Maddeningly deep in love, he was
And infatuated with the idea of power, until they killed Ariana and he did a 180
I think it's the most interesting thing about Dumbledore
That Professor McGonagall could be Hermione, having time-turner’d herself back loads of years. It would actually explain a few things.
wow, that'd be crazy. We do see her parents in CoS though so not sure how that would fit in...
While I don't align with that theory myself, I still think it is an interesting theory!
What are the sort of hints for this theory? Any scenes or passages you think would explain things?
I don’t really think it’s true either, but it would just be interesting. One thing it would explain is why she would give such a powerful and potentially destructive object as a time turner to a third year student. Otherwise, it’s just how strait laced, academic, and stern they both are whilst both having a potential to step outside the line when needed.
That's not how Time Turners work
It would actually explain a few things.
I'm curious, what would it explain?
If we are talking about characters taking polyjuice, I wonder if Ron and Hermione or Harry and Ginny ever tried turning into each other.
Certain spells and potions can be used to share a person’s essence onto the painted canvas so that a portrait is alive and can interactive with viewers. Does that mean, technically speaking, they function as more ethically created horcruxes?
They can't keep the person alive, just the memory of the person, so no.
No, the real person is still completely gone. It's more of a copy of the person. Think of it as an AI program. You could code it to look like a real person, and interact with you as they would. But the person it was molded on wouldn't be "connected" to it in any way. If I had an digital AI version of myself made, it wouldn't save me in any way from dying. It would just allow those I left behind to communicate with a copy of me.
The portraits are just magical paintings. They don’t have a soul or any other part of the subject.

When you thing about it, hogwarts isn’t a good school and has a lot of problems:
Half of the teacher are completely incompetent
bullying between student isn’t treated properly by teachers
punishement are sometimes way over the top, sometimes way to loose
bullying/ mistreatment by some teachers (particularly one of them…)
student with difficulties aren’t helped but belittled
school is like half of the time in complete danger and their « security mesure » clearly aren’t enough
and I can continue to adress the problems for at least an hour
Did Sirius ever get petted by anyone
