Went out with some friends this weekend testing my new gear for a 6 day Lake Superior Coastal Trail adventure I’ll be going on this summer. Really happy with some parts of the setup and know what I need to change for a longer hike. Either way enjoy some pictures I took!
Didn’t want to list it all if no one cared 🤣 Hammock: Grand Trunk Evolution Down w/ Dutchware anaconda Bugnet: Mozzy 360 (going to use the mozzy lite for superior for ease of setup and being able to hang in wierd places easier) Tarp: hammock gear Journey Straps: Dutchware beetlebuckles
how long is your hammock? i read some poor reviews about the mozzy net that kept me away from it, but I'd still like to try it if it can handle an 11 foot hammock.
The 360 should fit it with ease, my hammocks 10.5 feet (weird I know but I’m short enough it fits me lovely. The Mozzy light is a bit short for my hammock but it still functions perfectly with a sock shoved in the one cinch end.
I was out this weekend in CT, and heard one of these (Barred Owl) about 2:00am
Well what is the gear
