2 KOs 1 fight. What a legend
Alex is speed running the UFC hall of fame
Isn't he already hall of fame? Knocked out Strickland, knocked out Izzy who was pretty much unbeatable prior in his division.. went up a weight class and beat all the former champs.
He is. Champ in two weight classes with multiple defenses at LHW cements it.
The backing up check hook was a short little pop and it still sent him to the shadow realm
You know he wanted to beat that ass up even more
Confirmed, spirit magic is the best base for MMA
Jamahal watching this.
His coach. Hill is levels above Alex in striking
Get off reddit Jamahal
You need to go train, Jamahal. Turn off the internet.
You need to work on your trolling. People aren't getting your joke and just think you're serious.
Jamahal "Saltmaxxing" Pyfer.
That is certainly one of the opinions of all time
Hahaha fuck off Jamahal You still got brain damage from that KO last time.
Chama 🗿
Bell saved him 1st round. 2nd round he got smoked

Precision beats power.
Timing beats speed
Paper beats rock.
No, paper disproves Spock and Spock vaporizes rock.
I beat my meat
Jiri takes a slight step forward and that momentum also adds to the head trauma lol.
Pereira has freakish power. He puts people out w/ zero wind up and just glancing blows.
This was literally the easiest fight for him jiri has no defense and just rushes in and gets hit and still demolishes opponents except alex is the strongest hitter in ufc and jiri cant do the only thing he knows.
Strickland was his easiest UFC fight I believe, then Hill. Jiri put up a much better fight the first time, I’d say this was his 3rd easiest. The fact that we can even debate this shows Alex is built different lmao
thats not how it works lol, just because they got caught early doesnt mean its easier. They both posed a much much harder fight than jiri, specifically strickland he has an insane defense. If you ever watched jiris fights he just has none his only strat is berserking and getting hit rushing in ignoring damage done to him and winning still, but he cant ignore the literal strongest striker in ufc and also the most acurate one at that.
Did you not watch the first fight? Jiri was landing some pretty good shots, but agreed that Poatan is a horrible matchup for him. Hill had absolutely nothing for him, and just bullied
yeah he did land a couple good ones but he is just stylistically the easiest fight for alex. Sniper with the hardest strikes vs a guy that refuses to do any defense but tank hits and exchange.
He at least has power and unorthodox to land, Hill literally had nothing and Alex walked him down. Same with Strickland, he had no reason to respect sean's hands
none of that is true your just looking at results though, on paper they all pose a much worse fight for him than jiri who is a target dummy for him. Mcregor beat prime aldo who is the greatest fw in history really fast compared to bums does that mean that is a easier fight then some unranked opponent?
Actual braindead takes, but keep saying it
what a rebutal, answer my question lil bro.
You just keep repeating the same shit. No shit Aldo was a huge test for Conor, and Poatan had to respect Jiri's power and angles even though he had technique and power. With Hill and Strickland, they had literally nothing to threaten him with, slow, pillow-fisted strikers that couldn't match him, and so he walked through them and leveled them. Last response from me
Strickland has insane defense????
yes literally, one of the most boring styles ever to watch but amazing defense.
Hahaha Jiri has finished some serious players in LHW meanwhile hill finished an over the hill Glover and got demolished.
Strickland had no respect and got found out super fast.
Jiri did better than both of these clowns both times.
It’s ok to have an opinion but it’s ok to be wrong too.
Clearly you’re a casual man.
Lmao Strickland might have the best defensive stats it didn’t matter one bit once he got in there, Alex made light work of him. Few leg kicks, few jabs to the body and that’s all Alex needed to get him to lower his hands when the left hook came. Where was that amazing defense then? Jiri had far more success against him in their first fight, and actually made it past the first round
how are u being this dense man come on. Look at their past fights and style. Even jiri said he needs to evolve his style if he ever wants to stand a chance again.
Sean literally went to train with Alex right after their fight for that exact reason. He was Alex’s easiest fight, maybe you could argue it was Hill, but definitely not Jiri (either time). Why are you even arguing lmao just look at each fight objectively and see how much trouble each one gave him. Sean walked forward, threw some pillow handed jabs then got flatlined. Doesn’t matter what stats he has, on that day he had nothing for Alex. Meanwhile Jiri actually went a full round with Alex both times, even landing some big shots in the first fight. Sean has evolved a lot after that, hopefully Jiri will as well
bro you are too stupid to realize what i said and what you are arguing. Its not about which fight ended up being easier, conor beat the goat fw in his prime and in seconds was that a easy fight for him and a easy matchup compared to unranked bums that took 4-5 rounds?
This was literally the easiest fight for him
-Literally your first comment. You said nothing about “matchups”, you only mentioned how this was the easiest fight for Alex, don’t try to change your point now dude. Or maybe you’re too stupid to realize what you said yourself? Lmao. So to answer your question, yes, regardless of Aldo’s GOAT status, his fight with Conor was a lot easier than whatever “bum” took him to a decision, considering he finished it with a single strike and took no damage. As was Sean/Jamahal for Alex compared to both Jiri fights.
my point has literally been the same go read the reply to the other guy before u joined in like a moron without reading comprehension.
Jiri is one of the worst fighters to ever win gold. Just insane holes in his game.
I think he is a middle of the pack type champion. He’s wonderfully skilled and entertaining for his division but Alex is simply his kryptonite. There has been many other champions in the history of the UFC that weren’t nearly as talented as Jiri. Also, let’s not forget how hard it is to pull off what Jiri has pulled off with his style of fighting. He has exceeded in many ways.
The dude is 30-5 what the fuck are you talking about lmaooo just because he lost to the best striker the UFC has ever seen does not make him bad
watch any of his fights and u will see everything people are saying is true, he has no defense and it seems like he is alergic to it. His last fight his legs were getting crushed he is limping and just didnt check a single kick he just kept walking forward without a single care and eventually won but he just cant ignore strikes like he always does vs the strongest and most accurate striker in ufc. It was just terrible fight when u look at their styles, fun af but terrible.
Please do not yap nonsense in my direction Poatard, Jiri would be champ at LHW for a long time were it not for Pereira. Casuals should not speak of things they know nothing about
are u unable to read or just have a illness that makes it hard to comprehend?
Jiri is extremely sloppy and has zero defense
He gets rocked in every fight and is loses the beginning of every fight as well. He relies on his chin to eat a bunch of huge shots in a wild brawl and for the opponent's chin to crack first.
He is definitely a very weak champion and largely won due to an extremely weak division and fighting a 41 yr old champion ...
A great record outside the UFC fighting lower competition means very little.
Dude the disrespect is real. Jiri has insane pacing and offense, but yes he leaves himself open to generate his offense. Never in a boring fight, and has beaten the best of the best (except Pereira), and I'm not sure he's gonna be around much longer
Stop yapping please
Eastern euro records are often padded to hell
He fought in Rizin before the UFC, stop talking out of your ass if you don't even know the fighter
Casual? I have been watching MMA for decades. I have seen shit you never even heard of. Yeah I saw Jiri's Rizin fights and I know his record lol. That being said the dude needs a major overhaul in his style or he will be the next Johnny Walker.
Hill would get knocked out like this and still make excuses
Poor Jiri. Alex is just the most dangerous striker on the planet.
jiri is my favorite but i knew this wouldn’t end well.
That's one scary mf.
I've never been intimidated by someone on screen before Alex. Like tko via walkout. He's a terrifying dude.
That reckless type of style Jiri brings is no good against a guy that is bigger, more powerful, and is like a human sniper rifle. That said, Jiri brings so much to that division, but I think if they fought 100 times, Jiri would lose the vast majority of the time. Obviously, styles make fights
alex the merciful . because he always waits a little to see if the opponent is done before he unloads the gnp
🗿
SHAMAN! I mean CHAMA
That left hand is one of the most devastating weapons in mma history
Pereira is a vicious dude…. I watched the game and I was like WTF 🤬he da real deal
His antenna on his head was attracting all the punches
Right on the buzzer
What could go wrong if you are holding your right hand so low, and you do not have enough reflex.
And against Pereira of all people
Chama broke his big toe at that kick or dislocated it
Jon Jones at heavy is next
Just watched that fight that ass whooping was… ooof 😭
I unfortunately slept and missed the fight so I saw the head kick posted here earlier and I was like "How did he not see that kick coming?"
Now I know why lol
Pereira looked bored
Jiri eally needs to learn to keep his right hand up
Serves him right with that stupid fucking unicorn horn
Best striker in UFC history.
Izzy or anderson
Lmao Izzy. Get lost kid.
I only stated my opinion and izzy slept perreira in a iconic way stay salty ;)
Pereira slept Izzy twice. No need to be salty over Izzy but winning 1 out of 4 fights.
Izzy? Stricklands boy?
Izzy got dog walked by Strickland tf you talking about
Just like Izzy dog walked Pereira in their last fight tbf
The first kickboxing fight, which he lost, or the first MMA fight, which he lost?
Izzy was winning both fights up until KO’s but you’re only as good as your last performance and Izzy slept Pereira bad in their last fight
You're only as good as you objectively are and Alex is a champion
Izzy is phenomenal but he's 1-3 against Pereira and got dog walked by a jab merchant just stop
Both him and Izzy. Can land these shots while going backwards that just end people. I watch them over and over, they’re just so unintuitive to me as knockdowns.
Now I know CHAMA!
Assassin.
The man hits like a freight train
Alex might be the greatest ufc fighter of all time
Those half-assed looking left hooks he throws are absolutely terrifying
Hand down and head straight up in the air
I love watching Tom Cruise the last samurai get knocked out.
Pereira made him look like a straight bum!
“He has a mean left hook, better keep my right hand nice and low.” - Jiri
Generating that power from a cheeky left hook while moving backwards is some insane shit, jiri is as tough as they come too.
can he beat jones?
Too easy
Ooga vs ourk
As someone quo doesn't follow ufc I typically select based on appearance. This went exactly as expected.
Still wondering how adesanya could knock out this guy
Love the fit bro looks like he got a mango monster enargy for pants
Sent that ass back to Hooville.
k1>UFC
I don't think the little thingy on his head helps him....
Why the dildo on Jiri’s head?
He's Chinese
Its not a switch kick
What was it then?
Switch kick flip
You commented this in 2 different posts so that you could be wrong twice?
Dudes got a glass jaw, that first knock down looked like a pillow hit him
Dudes got a glass jaw
He's actually very durable and the fight before this he ate tons of power shots from Rakic and didn't go down. Pereira just has the touch of death. Immense power with little wind up.
Seriously, I haven’t paid attention to ufc since the Anderson Silva era in 08 but damn Pereira has serious punching power
82% KO rate, 9 of his 11 wins. This guy is insane.
Jiri actually has a famously iron chin, he's taken power bombs from everyone else and kept marching forward
It does look like that, but watch Pereira breaking the Powerkube record it looks like he put 75% effort into it, and he hit harder than Francis Ngannou. Crazy power.
