We were just hoping they’d help find her a place to stay.
I had something similar enough happen to me while using bookings.com and they were excellent. Got me booked into a room in a better place and cut me a discount that made it a couple bucks cheaper per night.
I have to say considering how big they are I was surprised they were so proactive on my behalf. I was freaking out doing my best to calmly explain the situation on the phone before I just broke down. I apologized to the CS I was talking to and she was so kind. Just made it happen and had me sorted in no time. Can't say enough good things about the company after that.
Thanks to everyone for their advice and help. Airbnb just emailed my daughter. They will be refunding her stay and paying for her hotel while in Scotland.
Awesome. I’m glad your internet whining paid off. You’re really teaching your daughter how to solve problems. Also, I’d take down all the photos of her you’ve posted as I know you’re terribly concerned about her safety.
