Choosing the right Footwear for a day at the Office!!
Discussion PostNaturalizer! Most of my shoes are by this brand as they accommodate my wide feet. My work shoes, casual sandals, wedding guest heels, etc all come from this brand.
I wear pretty high heels, but these are some recent ones I've purchased for work that are very comfy if you're ok with a little height (all from DSW but you can probably find other places too):
Arcopedico LS are my office shoes of choice. I do wear others, but the Arcopedico LS is my mainstay. They come in a huge rainbow of colors, are super comfortable to wear all day long, and I think they look good. https://arcopedicousa.com/product/ls/
Runners-up - lots of stuff from Ros Hommerson. I love their shoes, they look just interesting enough and they always fit me perfectly and let me go all day without even a twinge. My particular favorites are the Chelsea Mary Jane and the Nelly oxford (no longer offered but I recently picked up a pair on EBay because I love them so much and it made me sad to think that when my current pair gave up the ghost I couldn't get them anymore). However, there are lots more options from Ros Hommerson.
OMG, u/PashasMom the Chelsea Mary is so cool. The detailing and styling look comfy yet trendy enough for work. But, honestly, I just laid my eyes on Hillary by Ros ππ and it looks amazing. Just the right amount of height and straps all over will keep my ankle in place. I think I have been living underground that I didn't know about this brand. Thank you so much for your help ππ
PS: I totally relate to the feeling when our Favs run out and are no longer available ππ.
ooh I like the looks of the Hillary too!
I had never heard of the brand until pretty recently. I wandered into a local shoe store and one of their shoes caught my eye. Tried it on and loved it! I've had great luck with all of theirs that I have tried. I love that they offer a pretty good selection of sizes and widths, too.
Try Easy Spirit. I also love Taos sandals but may not be appropriate for office. Also like Clarkβs.
wow, u/Toriat5144 Easy Spirit has such a good range, I just saw their Meza Espadrille Wedge and it looks like something that can be worn under varied styles of office wear. I also loved the Xcellent 2 wedge from Taos but it is priced on a higher side. I think I'll explore ES more and they have such a vast choice. I can't believe I never explored this brand. Thank you so much for your help ππ
These oxfords and these low heels are not pricey, but I have worn both in all the colors and they have held up for the past two years of day and evening lecturing... I like a small heel, but sturdy, and I love Clarks but I wanted to try a lower price point.
