Afghan coats worth the 💲💲?

Went to the store with intent to purchase the long green Afghan coat but it just didn’t live up to the Joy I hoped it would bring. And it was very warm as it’s fully lined. Then I tried the shorter brown which still covers the ass. Should I purchase?!
