Just wondering, but what brand is your go to? Maybe there will be one I haven't used.
When I was growing up as a kid I worked on a beef farm and he always used john deere but they were the older models 90s 80s idk I was 9 I think the tractor was a 40 or 42 something
Fendt all the way for me
A man of culture and refinement.
A man of taste and knowledge. Me using Fendt 724 as allrounder, Fendt 300 for the small arrangements and a Fendt 900 or 1000 for the big machines.
Sometimey completed by a medium John Deer 6R.
Kubota is currently my biggest and most used tractor. we have a dealership close to us IRL and they are good looking machines.
This question gets asked about every other week, but mine is still Claas if i have the money. Otherwise Case or massey ferguson.
Is this a real life or game?
Is Claas really one of the most expensive tractors among other?
Both real life and in game. And yes, in game they are amongst the more expensive tractors, but i find them more friendly to handle when pushed as other tractors.
I figured but I'm never on here so I wouldn't know
When I started I was told brands don’t actually matter and the Massey Furgeson name just rang with me. I dig the color scheme and the shape of their tractors.
Currently using a Landini medium tractor with 410hp I got in the used section. its a mod but it does the work of some large tractors without the cost.
I'm downloading the top map in the mods right now and I told myself the first person to comment I'm gonna try that brand so I'm gonna try claas and I'll check that Landini one out
It’s the McCormick x8 VT drive and landini series 8 mod
How the fuck does medium tractor have 410 hp?
Haha I thought the same thing but its awesome.

Thanks I will definitely check it out. Edit: it definitely looks like a large tractor to me
It seems like it but it’s under the mediums which is awesome. Got mine for $115k used
Wow thats a really good price. I saw a John Deere 9R for like 167k once, if I would be playing on american map it would be awesome
I know JDs are popular in England but not sure how much popular they are everywhere else especially the larger tractors.
Yes John Deere is used here in central Europe also but not the big ones like 9R thats just American size tractor
I kinda figured that. What’s the go tractor to for large fields there in the EU?
I mean some large agricultural corporations, for example Agrofert, use big tractors like 9R, but usually there are small farms and the most common tractor here is Zetor

Depends on size.
Small? I like that little electric thingy they got. Also like the Steyer. I don't use small tractors much though.
Medium? Either Deutz Fahr or MF8S. Though my current fleet is New Holland.
Large? I prefer the JD8R or Fendt 1000. Never really use the really big ones.
JCB
SPEED AND POWER!!
I like the Fendt tractors but I also have a Lamborghini mod. I would like more Lamborghini tractors. Nothing says I made it, like cruising around in my Lambo 😁
Allis chalmer and Oliver every time
Completely depends on the farm and the location. US farms, typically Case. I'm not a big John Deere fan, so I rarely use them. European farms, depending on the location, I'll use Claas, Fendt, Lamborghini, etc. I try to suit the tractor brand to the map and what would typically be found in the region.
Always been a John Deere person because that's all I've seen in my area.
Big bud > Massey Ferguson > new holland > case ih > jcb fastrac > john deere
But when i am in a pinch, whatever has the power i need for the best value
I'm on a mod Map called deadwood using claas
Mostly Case/IH or JCB
Jd 4955 or claas 800 series
Claas has some interesting colors. Makes me wanna get it dirty even quicker so I don't have to look at them haha.
Nah man, that greenish yellow is dope. Any farmer worth his dirt knows old school yellow lexions rule tho
I used to use John Deere all the time but I’ve kinda started using case or challenger more on American map
Allis Chalmers
Will typically mix it up depending on the save.
Massey is probably my tractor of choice. Lot of variety, especially on the smaller side which is what I tend to lean towards. Lots of mod options as well.
Valtra or Case IH
John deere tractors for me
Almost exclusively John Deere/Case for crops but forestry I use Fendt
I just have alot more variety with my JD products since there’s so many mods!
Fendt/Massey
Big John Deere.
Middle Valtra
No opinion on small.
I like vibe on John Deeres, but as Fin, Valtra feels familiar.
I would like Lambo tractor like Clarkson lol
I like Fendt and Claas. Leaning toward Fendt more lately. MF is also in my mix a lot.
Generally Fendt and the odd JCB for good measure.
I always choose new holland because i like the colors and if i buy a new holland i make the color of the tractor dark blue because thats the color of new holland blue power tractors
I think what im gonna do is have a farm for each big brand 🤔
Claas, I’ve also got creative with the money file so now I just need to work out how many to get, and maybe some smaller equipment
Fendt, Deutz Fahr, JCB, in that order. (JCB only because they go fast)
I personally love Deutz. But if we play US maps, I prefer CASE.
My grandfather and his brother owned John Deere when their Family farmed. And my first farming game was the John Deere drive green game so it’s my go to brand. I don’t farm in real life and like the looks of John Deere. Definitely the mid 2000’s to early 2010’s models. Now do love the look of versatile tractors and the yellow American claas combine
The Fendt MT series are my primary tractors. I also use the Case IH Magnum allt as well.
Fendt 1050
Would be running valtra tractors from the 2000s but can’t find any cross platform mods with them so I either run a Massey 5435 or new Holland t7 210
New Holland / ford for me. The first tractor our family ever owned was a ford 8N, and we just stuck with the same brand since.
New Holland.
I like the colours
Fendt on my European farms (but also Steyr on Erlengrat)
Case IH for my US and Brazilian farm
Claas, Case IH and Fendt. In that order 😄
But if there's a good sale on something, and if I can afford it, I usually buy it regardless of brand
I am heavily against the practices of JD so I don't use them, I usually stick with Fendt, Deutz-Fahr and some use specific machines from other brands.
Valtra tractors are amazing for general tool handling and specifically excel at mowing grass in reverse, I usually play from 1st person view and having "back" axle steer in this situation helps a lot in covering every inch and allows for sharper turns without leaving a spot.
JCB 4220 is just as good at handling equipment around and great commuter when you need to get equipment across the map, with superior top speed to anything else at this price point. The bigger one is faster, but doesn't have a rear axle steer and reduced front axle maximum angle compared to others so it actually is worse to be honest.
But if I had to pick any single one, it would be Lindner 105 (or basically any other model from them). So versatile, small, all wheel steering, basically turns on the spot, powerful enough for small work, yet faster than most small tractors with great view from the cabin.
I am heavily against the practices of JD so I don't use them,
Im curious, why no JD?
Well recently there were some minor changes for the better but its still pretty bad. Specifically in Czechia, my friend owns 5R and 6R, one of them broke, technician had to travel 350km (note that country is roughly 600km across in total) to diagnose it with computer (if it was allowed by JD like in most other brands my friend could do it himself otherwise) Found faulty hydraulics pressure sensor, instead of it being replaced on site, it had to be shipped on trailer to their repair centre across the country. Could have easily been done on site instead, again if it was allowed by JD to do self repair work on owned machinery. Just for the 1-2h repair process, it had weeks of downtime during spring season and costing thousands in shipping the tractor and diagnostics by technician.
Recently JD allows a certain level of self diagnostics but it still requires 3rd party edited diagnostics software. For some machinery like new harvesters, it is mandatory to ship them to the service centre for oil change. That's ridiculous. Most organisations have their own workshop for heavy machinery, or contracted company close by for maintenance.
Well people can still try and work on these machines themselves at risk of voiding warranty that comes as ridiculous markup on spare parts and official service time if required.
I love JD or allis chalmers.
Depends. I usually just buy whatever, but in the beginning on any save I usually buy Valtra tractors because I like them and they have neat looking orange flashing lights.(whatever they’re called) Plus the T series sounds really good. Nice diesel engine sounds. But later in my games I usually just buy whatever.
John Deere.
Zetor 💪💪💪💪
Im currently a huge fan of the McCormicks
Fendt 1024 Black Beauty.
I go through phases. I have been enjoying the Lambo R6 250 for a bit now. And I use the Fendt 1000 vario for my large atm. But I have also been a fan of the case quad trac and also loved the claas 5000. They all have their ups and downs. The claas i like to use in forestry operations more than anything. Seems to be a pretty solid tractor for weight distribution and can hold some heay implements. Plus all 4 wheels have weights, rear weight options as well.
Absolutely Fiatagri
Massey Ferguson, Case IH and New Holland for me
I like the john deere tractors by look and function but don’t agree with the brand due to irl allegiances so typically I run case and new holland and some class as a primarily US based farmer
