DiscussionI lke to have a bignand little setup for fiddly but large fields. Big aircart rig for the bulk of the field and like an 8 metre rig for headlands and other more difficult bits
I have different John Deere air seeder that I have right now that might be good for headland it has a hitch I wind if the cart would be compatible with it even tho it has seed tanks
I either run the Seed Hawk or Bourgault air seeders when I play Edgewater, so I'd say no!
But I do agree some of the tighter turns, especially where there's fences bordering the field, become a bit trickier. Not impossible, but trickier.
i downloaded the seed hawk this week and i like it.
I think I’ve probably used a bourgault seeder but not on a farm is it smaller I think also the John Deere one can do liquid if you get the tank
They do have a smaller single implement version, but they're primarily large (same size or bigger than the John Deere aircart and seeder you pictured)
The Seed Hawk can do solid and liquid fert as well
Does the seed hawk vaderstad drill do it the same as the jd drill with the liquid tank on the back or does it store in the cart
I'm pretty sure it either comes with or someone has a matching liquid cart for the rear. The aircart itself only has a liquid option which adds a hitch and hoses, not actual storage
Ill test it but im thinking it might work with this mod

Man I love that air cart and seeder. The only issue I have is with the air cart and with some of the wheel setups. When unconnected it slowly keeps gliding forward or backward. The problem could be locally on my end, I just don't know.
As for your question: no idea 😅 But I have used this setup on small maps/fields. Just takes some finesse to maneuver around 😁
No I don't think that setup is too big for edgewater saskatchewan and also I think that your setup is awesome
do the width of the the planter on your headlands going to and from and one smaller pass on the outside so AI doesn’t freak out.

i got the exact same setup with the fertilizer tank on the back
Does that tank work on any other modded seeders

I tested on the seedhawk and it didn’t
I use the bigger one on edgewater, but i also.have that same setup as well, i use the bigger one for the straighter fields, and the smaller one like that for pretty much the rest of them. It does work well amd i do find that the setup your looking at works best
Might be tough to make some of the tighter corners. If you’re like me though and join fields together, and clear trees, this is a perfect setup.
