Pick any vehicle and in the xml cameras section, change limit to false

You can now look at your vehicle from any direction including from under the ground. To enhance the effect, open the I3D in GE, find the outdoorCameraTarget and change the Y value to negative. You will be able to look around underground on a level plane.
