Hey everyone, I'm looking for a little modding help. I'm trying to mess around with this wheel loader I've been using. In game, when the bucket is full, it has a difficult time moving smoothly, and it slides a lot when I try to turn. I was going to try to edit the wheel friction in Giants editor, and I think I figured it out okay. But if someone experienced in making vehicle mods could give some insight on either how to do that, or what the fix might be if not that, that would be very much appreciated.
Remove the weight from the bucket in the bucket xml. Won't need to change the wheel loader at all
<fillUnit unitTextOverride="$l10n\_unit\_literShort" fillTypeCategories="SHOVEL" capacity="2640" **updateMass="false"** showInShop="false" showOnHud="false"/>
Thanks, I'll try that. Also, is there any chance you know how I could make an implement, such as a wheel loader bucket, fill faster? I've been pouring through different xmls trying to find something along the lines of fillspeed, or fillrate, or anything similar, but no luck. I've also tried the GDN, but I think I'm just looking for the wrong thing maybe.
There is no fill rate. It is all determined by the discharge rate of whatever you are filling the bucket with.
Huh, guess that explains why I can't find it. Thanks!
