They're under a PU with me haha
Damn they tricked me though
R5: Recent game starting as Austria revoking the Privilegia and then forming the HRE for the first time. It was fun being a super OP nation from 1600s onward. I ended the game with over 1M Manpower fielded and having the economic hegemony. The acheivements I got were: The Ostenders, Black Jack, AEIOU and A Kaiser not just in name (I could've gotten the pope hre achievement as the Papal States was a member of the hre but I forgot to give them the electorate before revoking the Privilegia).
any tips on revoking privilegia faster
Always use your rulers as generals. Release vassals inside HRE. Add non-HRE countries to the empire by conquering their capital. For example, if you conquer France's capital, Paris, you core it and add it to the Empire. France capital will move to another province, say Normandy. Now you give Paris back to France and right away declare war on them to conquer Normandy. Their capital will move back to Paris , which is inside HRE , so all of France will join HRE.
That is mega big brain, the only time I did something vaguely similar was taking France's capital which was the Falklands and forcing their capital to move to the big island near Papua New Guinea (now known as New Britain and New Ireland, ironically) and allowing Animist zealots to enforce religion.
France’s capital which was the Falklands
Elaborate pls
Mega Revolutionary Provence (AI)
That's some good advice that I wish I'd have known before going into this run. This was the first time I've played as Austria since Emperor tbh and I'm not all that great with HRE mechanics still but it was fun to learn.
Just did it this morning as well. Loosely followed The Playmaker on YouTube’s guide.
Release Lorraine from Provence and take the two Provences from Provence beside it. (His guide has you then take burgundy’s capital which moves their capital into one of their HRE Provinces but I couldn’t get this to work, so I didn’t and instead just waited for inheritance. Take Prague from Bohemia when you do the Union and do some shenanigans to convert it, (he takes loans and goes bankrupt to rush the upgrade, I didn’t.)
basically focus on getting as many of the HRE provinces that aren’t currently princes in the HRE asap. Reigning in Italy is usually pretty simple. I had to fight one of the Italian countries because he was rivaled to a few of the others, but just allying the rest was enough.
Overall the run didn’t go quite as smoothly as his did, but I was still able to revoke before 1550 with only minor spread of other religions. Now I’m using the swarm to add Spain and Poland-Lith (who were my main allies before i fully form.
Absolutely beautiful bro. I've never played a game all the way through, pretty new at 760 hours but I have an awesome Angevin Kingdom run going that just may pop my 1821 cherry.
I think my first 1821 game was a Burgundy to Lotharingia run
What UI mod is that?
Looks like the 1440p mod to me, 'Proper 2K UI Project' iirc
Indeed it is, thank you
Congratulations!
This sounds cool. What game is this?
