Failed dropshipping 3 times. Finally taking it seriously. Followed a tutorial, designed this website. All advice is welcome.
Review RequestIsn’t it about marketing though? I’ll just have to create better ads?
I think it’s more about the angle you take with the marketing. It being marketed as a decor item is really saturated but if you can somehow give it another use maybe you can market it using that, but looking at the product I don’t really see any other marketing angles.
Sell it bundled with yoga mats and the like, call it something corny like ZenFlip, or MaxMeditate.
That would help with the average order volume.
What dropshipping supplier are you using ? Also your product description seems very AI generated maybe do an overview to make it more simple.
never seen that product before.. looks sick.. would buy if I had an apartment with an empty bookshelf/table..
not everybody sees everything on the interwebs.. if you believe you have done a good job, invest in your marketing.. let the results be the biggest indicator and come back again whether you fail or not
I have tested 10 products but none of them were winning. What number of products you test in order to find the winning product?
There a few things you need to look in to
you your self, cannot think and say ok this is a winning product or this is rubbish because you don't know.
Use data, you must have heard this loads of times
Utilise AI - chat gbt
Do not re-invent the wheel like many people do on here.
What you need to do is
Find a seasonal product which has a solution which helps people out or makes there life easier for example
Automatic makeup brush cleaner it cleans all brushs by it self.
Go to Google trends see if it's trending in searches
Download similar web extensions for chrome and find your competitors and see how much traffic they get
This is what I mean about gathering data.
Hope this helps DM me if you need
Sorry about my spelling just wrote this out real quick lol
Thanks for your response. That's what I'm following for my 11th product. Let's see how it goes.
From which country you belong? At what figure have you scaled your winner? Just asking for motivation.
I'm in the UK I don't like talking money - for your motivation just know there's money to be made work hard be unique
I’m going to be 100% honest. Website is completely garbage. The product is very saturated but saturated products can be good as well, but only if you can find a marketing angle that ISNT saturated, if you understand what i mean. I’ve tried selling this as well, didn’t get a single sale. I’ve also tried selling EXTREMELY saturated products, but used a completely different angle and put it in front of a different set of eyes and it was a hit. Keep in mind also, i went 6months, 9 different products and stores, and didn’t make a single damn dollar. But my 10th product was bringing in 1k a day 3 days after launch. So just don’t stop, you can’t fail if you never stop and one of those products will take off for you. You learn so much from failed stores and products. So just keep going
Can you clarify what you mean by different angle?
Marketing angles. For example, i took a popping bath mat that was blowing up. Everyone was marketing it as “super fast absorbing”. What i did was market it as a “Mold-Free” bath mat and targeted the older audience and it was a hit. So same exact product, just sold a different way. It’s just the angle you show people. Do you understand or is still confusing?
I see, so you make a twist in saturated product right ? And target a niche that might want that.
How do you marketing it to get $1k in 3 days? Certainly it isn't organic right?
Most likely not but I heard a good tactic of using organic first seeing what performs well and using paid ads to advertise videos that did well organically
Noted, do you mind to tell me your way to ads?
I’d take the market angles being used today and try to be creative but also targeting a niche like people are saying or find an unfound marketing strategy. Sometimes if the product is over saturated it might be best to try another but keep trying if you feel your product will work
Thank you for sharing your experience bro. I've been trying to start mine, so I need a lot of knowledge about it.
It was organic content, I’m good with social media. I don’t do any paid ads at all. My first video on that stores Instagram account hit a million views like a week after posting. My store that hit 1k a day in 3 days wasn’t bath mats btw.

Get ready to fail a 4th time. Stop building 1 product stores.
Most advice online is horrible! Including yours. How can you tell someone to stop building one product stores when sellers of one product stores are making a killing??? Just say you don't like the concept of a one product store. Or that you hate the idea of going to a website and not being able to buy anything else but that one product. But telling someone to stop selling something cause a market is oversaturated or one product stores aren't a money maker, is silly. Oversaturated product sellers are STILL making a killing as well as sellers of one product stores. It's all about your marketing angle, advertising and social media expertise and having the budget to test stuff before you see what works.
That's all? That is your whole website?
Website doesn't matter. It's about your creatives and running ads
Recommend any good tutorial?
you might be cooked my guy
Lmaooo
Change the logo font. Can't tell what it says. Tastry? Like Pastry? I'm confused.
Make your shop name readable. How can I buy something from a shop I can’t even read the name ?
price sound too high for product like this
Wtf is it and why should I buy it and from you?
Missing copy, graphics of product demonstrations, lacking in CRO (customer rate optimization), no offer (why should someone buy this from you versus other merchants selling the same thing), missing social proof, just needs improvement overall.
Bro you have just the product on the homepage, fill it with a lil bit more info , follow the minto pyramide rules to write the ideas in a good way
Add your policies and get a domain
Honestly dropshipping is dead I would find a better online opportunity. And the reason you failed is not you it's the market.
which tutorial did you follow?
use that https://youtu.be/rqGNDT_utao?si=S2hlSR-_gJfBVT9U instead ...
and that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J71drztNX8o
and that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy1Zy7ENq6w
and probably lot of stuff are not covered like how do you optimise your menu for semantic seo and so on .
thanks
Good luck man see ya at the top 🤙🏻
Lots of work ahead for me… thanks.
thanks
what theme is this?
sense
30 average order value is not it.
Probably 15 on product + shipping, 5 on taxes and 10 USD for Ads. That won't be enough since you won't get a 3.0 ROAS.
Even IF you consistently get a 3.0 ROAS, and you won't, you would make a whopping 0 Dollar profit.
Try to sell a couple more products within the same niche, you might want to make the site more professional. Try to find creative ways to do marketing!
It looks okay i guess but there is not much to rate its just the basic frame of a website you could provide much more info/images Footer also looks like its missing something
if someone held a gun to my head and asked me to give a top 10 of the most oversaturated dropshipping products this one would be in it.
Since it’s a one product store just change anything that says “products” to “product” which can be changed later whenever you do decide to add more products in the same niche.
One product stores like this look sketchy
Still has powered by Shopify & no legal pages
Need a domain
What was the tutorial you used?
I’m going to be honest that product is just not a winning product. It’s too saturated
