thx!
Also when you die there you respawn in front of the same portal (the portal is built with this 4 "things") as like nothing had happened, ready to try it again. Back in the day, I have spent a lot of time in the Adventure Mode worlds, so much fun. As there is no consequences for dying there, it's like a break from the usual gameplay, I enjoy it a lot (of course if you die there you will lost time and the stuff you did there, but still).
Oh I didn't even know that bit that's pretty cool! I was just going off of some info I read off the wikis a bit ago never tried building these outside of Adventure Mode myself. Neat mechanic!
The person above is mixing up what happens when you die in adventure mode (you spawn back at the Maxwell's door portal in your original survival world) with building the teleportato (the thing in the OP's picture). There is never a time when you actually respawn at the teleportato.
Oh well shit my bad, didn't know. Kinda thought it was a really weird coincidence, but like I mentioned I never tried this in a survival world. Wasn't gonna try locating the pieces in one just to fact-check it.
Thanks for the correction dude, makes more sense.
When you die in adventure mode you spwan back at Maxwell's door in your original survival world. You don't spawn back at the teleportato built from the 4 things
Also, in Adventure mode, you can only bring four items/stacks with you onto the next world. You can however bring structures precrafted.
Meanwhile bundling wrap
I forgot that was added to DS. I've beaten Adventure mode long time ago before that was a thing.
Vanilla DS (on PC) lets you make bundling wrap if you get the blueprint but it doesn't let you put bundled things into the teleportato in adventure mode - I speak from experience. Presumably it's possible if you're playing with RoG dlc active since I've seen lots of people saying that you can use it in adventure mode. I haven't tried that recently - my current adventure mode run is vanilla DS only.
Me playing pocket edition:
The pocket edition has RoG included with it. Or maybe this is something that has been patched out of the PC version but not from the mobile version, I don't know. It definitely didn't work for me on PC just a few weeks ago when I tried it.
Suffer
The wooden thing along with the other pieces for the teleportato exist in the overworlds DLCs included even outside of adventure mode. Outside of adventure mode if you put the pieces together it will allow you to start a brand new world but with the stat changes and all the knowledge of everything you've crafted from the previous world.
So basically you get to start over your world without having to redo all the things you'd normally have to do while starting fresh, an easier start.
