No amount of Cool and Reflex attributes will ever save V from Speech - 0
True but I'm doing a Body build so for now my V is a lobotomite.
I mean, that's just to be expected.
Have you seen the Animals?
Yeah, thank fuck for that, NC doesn't need intelligent gangs.
It’s say the vdb’s are pretty smart
I’d say they are smart stupid, high int low wis
Smart enough to penetrate the black wall. Dumb enough to cross V
Idk, they betrayed me, admitted they betrayed me, and then immediately tried to betray me again, and then Maman B stood there with the surprised Pikachu expression as I cut her head off.
Don’t let their tech savvy fool you, they’re exactly like every other gang in the city: one brain cell to share.
Don't worry, in no time you'll max tech for Edgerunner Perk.
Yessss. The cyberpsycho perk!
You can do that even without the tech attribute
Really? I always thought there was a tech symbol beside the dialige choice, huh. Good to know.
There is a tech skill check one and a general "durr that's fancy" one. Just played it last night
It's just like real life
That ‘hey Judy’ line delivery is so perfect I can never stop myself from picking it lmao
What’s the context here?
Meeting Judy for the first time
What, her identity's supposed to be secret or something?
It’s because
She lives in night city, a cutthroat place if there ever was
She didn’t tell V her name which means, someone else told V and that would make anyone a bit frustrated
V interrupted her work
And she sees her girlfriend behind you, and she’ll make some quick observations
Yeah the delivery is perfect
I also find it funny that you can choose not to tell their names to T-Bug and then a few lines later "Start it, JUDY"
I noticed that, I guess it's an oversight
Its not the only moment where that happens in the main story either. While nothing comes of it, regardless of whether or not you choose to tell t-bug their names, you also get that same option, for example, later with the Vodoo boys. I've played through that moment portion 3 times but I've never chosen to tell Brigitte about Eve and Judy, so I'm not sure if there's an actual difference there, but I kind of assumed there wouldn't be anyway, since earlier it in the story it was ignored.
It is know that CDPR wanted the choices and consequences present in the main story to be much more widespread or all encompassing, the game accounting and reflecting the consequences of each small decision you make, but obviously a lot of them where cut down for the sake of development time, ending up where we did, with most of the choices where you actual feel the impact of your decisions being present at the beginning and ending portions of the game.
Am pretty curious about that detail when it comes to the vodoos though my expectation is just that it doesn't change.
I'm still lookling/waiting for an RPG with these types of consequences... name-dropping people too much, telling people too much about where you got your info, where you found something, or asking too many questions (giving away how uninformed/exploitable you are), etc.
Basically any subtle thing that might bite you in the ass later down the line by weakening your bargaining power, or getting found/confronted faster by hostile groups, etc.
There's a lot of 'not your biz' lines that ultimately don't matter.

They kind of explored that option in Talent Academy gig, so that's a taste of how things could be.
These things happen in real life lol not really unrealistic for V to slip. Specially since he was developing a crush
Debatable on the crush part, but yeah, it’s pretty realistic
speak for yourself i hate judy
I love the sheer awkwardness in Cyberpunk
The charisma perk wasn't unlocked
V didnt get a rizz chip installed
No, just no.
CASIE social enhancer chrome wasn't a thing in cyberpunk sadly.
Wtf is this?
In this mission, V, the protagonist, is on a BD club because there's a BD Evelyn gave us, a BD with information on a gig we're planning, so we go there to ask Judy help with the BD, as she's editing them for quite some time now. Thing is, there's a member of your team, T-bug, which is on call with V alone, and Judy doesn't like T-bug, so Evelyn asks V to not tell T-bug it's Judy on the other end who's helping us with the BD. V then proceeds to say "Hey Judy" immediately after giving thumbs up to keeping their mouth shut.
I don't recall Evelyn asking V not to tell T-bug about Judy, rather Evelyn pleades with Judy to let T-bug in and that she can trust Evelyn wouldn't put her in harms way
That happens a bit later. What I wanted to capture is V's borderline disability when it comes to talking sometimes. Eve tells him to be respectful and not to talk too much, literally first thing V does is shout "Hey, Judy!" Like she's his best bud and raise his hand like wants to ask the teacher if he can go to the restroom.
Tbh I fail to see why saying “Hey” is disrespectful and/or “talking too much”. Maybe it’s in his tone….? Kinda hard to capture that in text form lol
It's in the blatant disregard of Eve's wish, V's claim he can be cordial and their faces right after. Isk, just felt like that.
I don’t think Evelyn meant “be super cordial” so much as “don’t be an asshole”. There’s a big difference between the two, and I don’t see how “hey” is in any way offensive, since it’s a common greeting. V isn’t exactly a super formal person anyway, since they frequently use slang.
I love the cringe and unnatural feel of it that makes it more human!
I relate something big to this interaction, I too can't talk to women to save my life. A friend of mine and I were in the uni hall one day and a girl came to ask about a lecture room, I stumbled every other word while pointing at the wall like there were stairs there. Eventually she got me, said thank you and left and I said "Thank you too!" at which point my friend was on the floor and crying.
The worst is the airport mission in PL where you have to keep a low profile and not get spotted, but they place a few random minor side character’s you’ve met earlier in the game around the terminal that recognize you and want to say hey. Even though you have a disguise on with full face mask.
Huh... haven't seen that part. I played it on my first playthrough but don't remember much of that. Cerberus though, oooh... I'll never forget Cerberus...
That's the cringiest line in the whole game.
Every time I hear it I scrunch up into a little ball.
Incorrect. The cringiest line is Johnny saying "To bring an end to the madness you wreak"
No.
But actually yes
But if you have a good tech attribute you can complement her pc setup instead and have her instantly like you.
