Resplendent Anthem
Man, this might be one of the best designs here recently. Totally printable, flavorful, inside the color pie. Perfectly balanced. Great work!
I feel like channeling this with [[Agatha's Soul Cauldron]] in play is absolutely bonkers.

Soul cauldron cares about creature cards so this does not interact
Plus this has no activated ability useable by permanents...
This is all true, but it is still instant speed uncountable counters on all your creatures. If you have something under cauldron already then this card can make your board go crazy
Huh? You exile any creature then all your white creatures with those +1/+1 counters now has that ability. I'm confused why you think this doesn't interact because it 100% does lol.
I wouldn’t call it “absolutely bonkers.” There’s tons of cards that give all your creatures +1/+1 counters, that’s nothing special. The original comment definitely seemed to imply that there was some synergy beyond giving counters.
The only thing this has going for it is that it’s “uncounterable” (putting stifle effects aside).
I think the comments are confused here. The anthem has no value under the cauldron, since it has no non channel activate abilities. BUT it DOES provide counters for cauldrons static ability sharing side.
Isn't the channel ability almost always better than casting the spell? You get the same effect without worrying about counter magic or enchantment removal
It's better when you're trying to overrun or have counter synergy, but the main mode is there so the buff can apply to future creatures you play! Long term advantage versus immediate but opportunistic buff v^
Long what?
This guy plays red
Term is a length of time. So Long length of time advantage instead of short term advantage.
Oh, ok. Sry for the confusion, im a monored player
Well I would have said the opposite so maybe this is a good design.
Sure if you never get any new creatures out and don't get board wiped.
Trust me, casting a permanent enchantment is usually better.
The cases where channeling is preferable are niche. +1/+1 counter games, etc. I feel like the primary use is as a combat trick, but that's valid.
The permanent mode is better early game, or in cases where you have threats in hand but not much on board.
The channel is a bit more niche, but still strong. If you are already ahead on board, and instant speed buff is real good. Counter synergies are good too, but something sneaky strong here is white's low mv revival effects.
If you have a [[Restoration of Eiganjo]] or [[Sun Titan]] you chan channel this, pump the team, then quickly recur it to pump the team more. Probably a bit more commander focused, but I could see it being part of a mono-white midrange/aggro strategy in a format like Standard.

This card's enchantment form is better when this card is in your starting hand. 1st turn Hopeful Initiate (or any 1 drop), 2nd turn this, and 3rd turn Adeline is a solid play.
Channel ability is better if you already got a lot of board presence. But the strength of the channel ability lies in its instant speed. Also it synergizes with Restoration of Eiganjo.
I can imagine there will be a lot of players who channel this card during opponent's end step, then play Restoration of Eiganjo on your turn.
