I saw another person posting the same that happened to them so figured I’d share. We bought ours over this past weekend on 05/25/24. It was built 3 weeks ago and we had it reserved. There were 12 miles on it when we drove it off the lot. We live about an hour and a half from the dealership so we got it up to what you see in the picture just doing our weekend activities.
Earlier today, we were driving down the road and the change engine light came on. Strange noises from the engine. Then a message came up on the dash to stop driving when safe. We were just down the road from home thankfully and were able to coast into our driveway. Lucky us, the dealership had just closed 5 minutes earlier (according to Google. Not sure if they were even open at all today). I loved the vehicle up into this point and read so many great things about it during my research prior to buying. It was also our first new vehicle so just a tad disappointing.
Dam - this is actually turning into a problem. I’ve seen half dozen of these posts on various subs and even my local Honda dealership has a few in now - two of them are total engine failures and one is a power drain on the system, causing the battery to die instantly
