Have you ever used any of Conan’s jokes?

A joke? Please. At this point a solid chunk of my personality has been formed by obsessively watching Conan for nearly three decades.

I sometimes say “keep cool my babies!” when things are getting tense.

Sometimes at parties I masturbate frantically. People don't usually get it.

Once, my nephew and I were pretending to be old time peasants or something and I pointed at a airplane in the sky and said "what is this demonry?"  The joke didn't really land And sometimes, when I am told something that is more or less inconsequential, in my head, I'll think of Brian McCann yelling "What?  There's no reason to live - where's my kayak?"

The first remote I saw that made me love Conan was him delivering Chinese food in NYC during a blizzard. The streets were empty, covered in snow and a woman cross country skis down an avenue behind him. He turns to the camera and says, “little do you know she does that all year.” Huge laugh in the audience and in my living room with my parents and brother.

We are in CT so we also got that blizzard and had a snow day the next day. I’m in the living room with said brother and his friend and look out the window and see a woman cross country skiing down our road. I turn to them and go, “Hey look! Little do you know she does that all year.” They both stared at me stone faced and my brother’s friend says, “That’s my mom.”

I sing "I'm gonna go to hell when I die" whenever I make a bad taste joke

I continuously say that I am 73 years old or some other such ridiculously high number, when I'm actually in my late 30s. In fairness, I do FEEL that old most days.

I once imitated Richard Nixon like Conan but was asked why I sounded like the Nixon head in Futurama? I wondered if that was Conan’s legacy from working on the Simpsons.

I steal from Jordan. When someone asks what I do, I start with “I perform various tasks related to…”

I don’t know where I heard the anecdote, but one of his former employees was telling a story about how they were working on polishing a piece and running out of time/inspiration (I will get the details wrong, sorry) and they showed it to Conan who cried out, “the Good Enough Gang rides again!” And I laughed for five full minutes and say it alllll the time now. It really contains multitudes 😂

One of my first times performing music in front of a crowd was in middle school in front of the entire 8th grade. I was nervous, but I just kept telling myself to 'act like Conan' and I ended up winning over the crowd. I was only shoved into 3 lockers that day.

My brain will randomly go, "Walker says I have AIDS."

I'm sure some of his material is loving rent-free in my head and I've dropped a line without realizing it was Conan, but in terms of on purpose use of Conan jokes, I don't use a verbatim joke but have made jokes in his style at work. Like, "[boss] says this is a top priority so we need our best people working this. But theyre all unavailable, so it's been assigned to me."

No I use my own as my entire family is large and catholic as well. But my father and brother use the string dance on occasion.

I have used the insult he used on Sona many times

When something takes for example 15 minutes and it's dragging, I'll say it took 45 minutes of our time, just like Conan usually does.

no, but sometimes in my head it is Conan's 40's detective voice and then nothing is serious is gonna happen throughout the day, lol.

I’ve probably quoted many lines he wrote for the Simpsons. In fact, I blame him for my sense of humor because I grew up on golden era Simpsons and love talking in an “old timey” way and say things like “Revulcanize my tires”

I do the old timey voice every now and then for random things

I used to be on the radio, and sometimes on the air, I'd say something like, "Back in the 50s when I started doing this."

Yeah, I've used them...for me to 💩 on!

Sometimes when my son starts to pretend fight with me I break out the old fashioned boxing moves that Conan has taught me all these years.

When I was in high school, I used to say "I'll cut you fool!" a la Pimpbot 5000. Might be time to bring that one back.

Not a specific joke, but the high pitched nerd voice usually gets a laugh

Whenever I see a very hairy guy at the beach I say something about him wearing a sweater to the beach. I believe this is from Conan’s travel to Israel

Apparently the new trend is to go stag at the prom this year. Which proves my point that I was born ahead of my time

After reading like endless number of bedtime stories to my toddler, I said “goodnight everybody” to wrap it up.

I answer the phone with “ahoy, ahoy?” thanks to him.

I know I spout off random ones, usually some version of the Brian Stack Fantastic guy. I'll call something Fantastic, then followup calling other things ___tastic.

The one I think I use the most is when I say something that gets a groan or eye roll, I'll go "So Cash or Credit!?" and punch the air. An old Hannigan the Salesman tic.

My husband works Conan jokes into his routine of quips and jokes almost daily. Sometimes it lands, mostly it doesn’t but A for effort.

“I’m dating myself with this reference” “Who better to date?”

I say “peace out, Tupac” at least once a day

I pretty much recite “Those Impractical Jokers” bit every other day

Dude, most of my comedic personality is based on Conan and The Simpsons. I don't really do it on purpose, they just come naturally. Every once in a while, people will recognize a reference I made, and that is how I make friends ha ha

The Curly “wanee wanna” sing-songy voice when doing random little things.

Probably, and I'm looking forward to answering someone with "...said the torpedo." during a conversation where appropriate.

Getting the artist right is only half the battle. Conan's version works because of the lyrics specifically he chose. You're just using random lyrics of songs by well known artists from that country. Doesn't hit the same.

For example, it wouldn't have been anywhere near as funny if he said "It's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll". Same artist, not the same effect.

I catch myself saying a lot of the old timey nonsense that him and Gorley always say. “Now don’t go getting your ninnies all in a muggins”

My friends and I still say “Inappropriate” in Clive’s accent. A lot.

After his Hot Ones I use these a lot: 'ARE WE DOING THIS OR NOT??!!!' and: 'I JUST WANT TO FEEL ALIVE!!!' and 'I can't be anything other than myself, there's nothing else for me.' And 'IT'S NOT A BIT!!!!' As a person on the spectrum, ye Gods I felt every bit of his presence on the episode.
