Handicapped accessible paths, similar to Garden of the Gods?

Question

Does anyone know of any handicapped accessible paths, similar in accessibility to Garden of the Gods?

My fiancé tore her Achilles. She’s currently non-weight bearing but can get around pretty well on a knee-scooter. We went to Garden of the Gods last week and it was perfect for her (paved, relatively flat). She wants to get out of the house again this weekend, so I’m looking for something similar. Does not need to be as spectacular as GoG, but anywhere within a 2 hour drive of Denver with a relatively flat paved path would be great!

I’d also love scenic drive recommendations if you have them. Getting her out of the house really seems to boost her spirits, so I’m hoping this will hold her over until she can hike again. Thanks in advance!

Peak to plains trail in Clear creek canyon is paved and fairly scenic even if it’s alongside the road. If she can handle a packed gravel road and some distance, Waterton canyon is excellent (canyon unfortunately starts about two miles in, but you can make a day out of it and there are lots of spots to rest and picnic). Chatfield has a few paved paths alongside the lake.

You can also search by accessibility on all trails which will pull up more paved trails.

Yeah if you have the app you can scroll over on the top. Think it’s actually called Suitability. You can choose wheel chair accessible as well as paved and see all the paths that fit that description. Great for post heavy rain days too when you’re just looking for something that’s not muddy.

Staunton State Park offers Action Trackchairs (wheelchairs with off-road tank-like tracks in them)

So does Barr Lake! So dope with all the birding, particularly in the winter time. Multiple state parks have track chairs.

There's a pretty one in roxborough State Park. Also wilderness on Wheels near Kenosha pass.

Closer to Denver check out the paths around Red rocks, there are a lot of paved trails.

This one is a scenic drive and a hike. Ridgway State Park has a completely paved path from the town center out to the lower Reservoir of the State Park. It is absolutely beautiful out there as well because a lot of the San Juans are visible in the distance.

They also have track chairs as well.

More ideas here as well, though the sub has suggested most.

If you're in the Springs, Quail Lake has a nice paved path and is a great place to watch the sunset.

Castlewood Canyon State Park - but take the southern entrance along Parker Rd south of Franktown. It has a good stretch of paved trails along the canyon. You can access those trails from Lake Gulch Trailhead parking lot, but Lake Gulch trail itself does not stay accessible. The northern entrance west of Franktown does not have any paved trails, but I may be remembering wrong.

The High Line Canal in Denver metro is wide and flat. The southern portion is crushed gravel and the northern portion is concrete. It's a 71 mile long trail :)

The Frisco to Breckenridge bike path is all Cement and wide with great views for most of it especially around frisco section.

All federal parks should have some trails that are as accessible as can be. Maintained gravel paths, low slopes, etc. They are required to meet the ABA Outdoor Developed Areas.
