They range so much! Our lady maxed out at 45lbs, our little guy is only 7 months old and he's 40lbs, but a whole head shorter than she was. Guess we'll see in another 4 months or so!
My Sapphire is on the smaller side. She hasn't the foggiest notion that she is, though, and hasn't let that stop her from being the alpha fluffle from the instant she set foot on the premises. Didn't bother her one wisker that there was already a full-grown, almost 90lb male Chow Chow waiting to greet her tiny fluffle pupple tail when she pranced herself in and took over.
She'll be 10 in June, and she's as sprited as ever. 💜
Our almost 4 years old male chow chow has been a steady 44-45lbs for years. He’s def on the smaller side compared to other male chows. We think he may be the runt of the litter cause his brother is way bigger than him.
My 2 year old boy Leo is 72 pounds and my 6 month old girl Lily is 32 pounds. Lily is probably gonna be more on the smaller side compared to my boy haha
For everyone’s not just OP: What age did you notice your chow to stop growing? My dude is 9 months and 40 lbs. I don’t think he’s getting any bigger…not an issue and I’d love for him to stay this size but truly thought I would end up with this 70lbs beast
i often get told that my girl is on the small side for a chow, she’s 2y8m and 54 pounds. i think thats pretty normal, but she was also spayed very early (breeder requirement), so ive always chalked it up to that 🤷🏾♂️
