1. The phone numbers are there, but just white text on a white background?
2. The numbers are there but hidden by CSS rules and therefore visible to Google/computers but not visible to human eyes.
3. The phone numbers are in non-visible code (meta data, headers) which Google is crawling but don't get displayed to viewers.

It's to draw traffic from searches I would guess. Just random generated crap?

It could very well have malware that automatically installs on your computer when you visit the site. The content that Google bots see can be hidden from you with simple tricks such as displaying white text on a white background. So, at this point I would recommend you check your computer for viruses using a trusted virus/malware scan.

I ran into a similar situation once and when I checked the HTML source code, I saw the mischief. Most web browsers have an option to view the source code, in case you’re curious to investigate it. But be diligent about malware.
