I respectfully disagree. I grew up in Nigeria too and if you go to especially the Nothern states, one is expected to cover up a bit. No one is asking her to wear a suit but there are lots of options available. The dressing controversy kind of distracts from the focus of the trip which is Invictus. This āit doesnāt matter cultureā is not helpful. Didnāt Okonjo Iweala and Kate Henshaw feel hot too?
If someone chooses to focus on her clothes over the Invictus Games, aren't they the problem? Yes, there are different standards of dress in different places, and one could argue that it's best to stick to the standard when visiting, but grown ass adults are perfectly capable of paying attention to what's important.
