Whether we want to call it "champagne taste" or "lifestyle creep" I know I sometimes buy the nicer thing that's slightly out of budget. At one point in time in my life this meant a crazy amount of credit card debt. I was able to pay it off and change my relationship to spending--turns out some things still feel worth it to me to spend a little more on, while acknowledging that means that the money has to be cut back from somewhere else. For example, I almost never buy coffee out anymore, and this leaves me with enough extra cash for a hard gel manicure once a month.

This got me wondering what are other BWT's hacks for cutting back or saving just a little extra? And what do you spend it on instead? Are you buying cheap soap in exchange for good makeup? Cutting your hair yourself but still getting it dyed by a pro? Any and all tips for still feeling like a BWT on a budget are welcome!
