Trans and enby autistics - how did you know your gender when gender constructs don't make sense to you?

My partner and I are both autistic. I'm a cis woman and my partner is non-binary and we've been talking about gender and sexuality. Even as an autistic person, I've been talking about how I know that I'm a cis woman and gay by just asking myself if I am those things and knowing it to be true. I feel as if my voice can only go so far though as a cis person and all constructs, including gender and sexuality, are very confusing to my partner from an autistic perspective. So I wanted to see how Trans and non-binary autistic people explain how they know their gender to other autistic people who struggle with these concepts.
