Big fan of Modes. I'm just wondering if I missed something with this new episode? The "entity" on the phone wasn't introduced before right? I realize it's a crossover episode, but I would expect the story to fit into both shows if it's being run on both feeds.
The professor references "Brooks' organization in Nevada." Is that the billionaire who flew him to the island?
Part of me is confused just because the professor seems to completely go along with this- Hybrid entities, aliens, people trapped in a hard drive?
Interesting stuff just wondering if I need to go back connect the dots.
It's a crossover episode with another podcast called 'Give Me Away'.
In that show, an alien ship landed on earth with a hardrive full of alien consciousnesses held prisoner that could only be freed by being transferred into the mind of a human. Brooks is the director of the program at Red Camp in Nevada and is charged with finding hosts and getting the alien and human partnership to work once they are together. Graham is the guy in this episode who speaks to the professor and he has an alien second in his mind called Joshua. Joshua was known as a temperamental but genius inventor on his world.
Give Me Away is more scifi and I wasn't sure how they'd handle both ancient mythology and alien consciousnesses but I really liked how they did this crossover, and GMA is a fantastic series worth checking out.
