The ‘Service Dog’ tag 🥹 Happy Toulouse Day 🤍✨
Photo / VideoTherapy dogs are not service dogs, they are not protected under ADA laws.
Exactly
The way ppl think this is wholesome is…. No consideration for people with disabilities
Pretty sure he hasn’t, just look at how he and her other dogs behave in public 😬
Her dogs can’t even walk nice on a leash which is service dog training 101. It disappoints me so much that she plays him off as a SD.
it's so exhausting being a server and having to deal with fake service dogs 🫠 I see like 3 a day. they gotta come up with some regulations.
It doesn’t matter where she brings him. You can’t call any dog a service dog unless it’s a well trained service dog. We’ve all seen videos of Toulouse and that dog can’t even walk nicely on a leash. No way it’s a legit service dog.
Toulouse is very clearly not trained. Not even leash trained which is the bare minimum
Given that there is no certification for a SD, no. But he is also way too old to be working as a SD so I doubt he has been recently trained to work at the level she needs. I’m all for her having a SD but I don’t agree with her passing him off as one.
I mean if he’s not a service dog, by posting this she’s telling her followers it’s okay to get a tag that says service dog and put it on their dog. That’s the issue.
this topic is brought up a couple times a year, the last time being when Ariana brought Toulouse into a restaurant for her brother-in-law, Hale’s, birthday last year
She does.. unfortunately
where? The only place ive seen him since the service dog tag became a thing was on the wicked set.
if she isn’t bringing him places untrained dogs shouldn’t be then why would she need the service dog tag?
In order to get certified as a service dog I think he’d have to have the training wouldn’t he?? He is certified and I remember reading about how both him and Myran both are.
Anyone can pay for a "certificate" that doesn't actually mean anything. It's different if they actually go through formal training.
I thought you could only pay for the certification for ESA (emotional support animals) but they don’t get the tags or any of the clearance and all that. And I should note support animals aren’t considered service animals.
lmao you can literally buy this exact tag on amazon, it’s the first four results to come up when you search “service dog tag” and it states they’re protected by federal law along the top.
to be clear, real service dogs are but this one is not because he is an emotional support animal and never has nor will be a service dog. buying a tag for $9.99 on amazon won’t make him one.
this is one of my biggest icks about her, sorry but someone had to say it. we all know that dog isn't even leash or house trained.
she’s such a lame for this. that is not a real service dog and we can tell from the way it acts in public 😂 yall can downvote me if you want but it’s ugly and offensive
Emotional support dog****
His eyes are always closed lol
Just like his mom
he looks like my dog who bit my sisters face off 🥹 so cute
This comment took me out 🤣
what’s a service dog? not from the us or anywhere near there so apologies in advance
typically they are are working animals that have been trained to perform tasks that assist disabled people and people with chronic health conditions such as seizure disorders or fainting spells.
there has been a lot of abuse of the term with people claiming that their regular dogs are ‘service dogs’ in order to get special treatment and be allowed to bring their dogs into places dogs wouldn’t normally be allowed to enter (restaurants, stores)
there’s some pretty crazy videos on TikTok/reddit of dogs literally saving their owners lives by warning them before something goes bad!
Sorry to be blunt, but why does she need a service dog? Does she have a health condition?
this dog in the photo is not an actual service dog hehe, i was just going a little crazy with describing what a service dog is so you’d be informed
Oh ty ty
he’s a therapy dog not a service dog. i guess he’s a therapy dog based off the fact ariana has mental health issues (that she’s said herself)
Right, thanks
The problem is it’s so easy to buy these tags and legally employees cannot outright ask you if you have a disability so it’s easy to get away with having a fake tag, but because random untrained dogs have these now it’s makes it so much harder for real service dogs and ppl with actual medical conditions to get taken seriously. Lots of the time they are illegally kicked out due to the stores having bad experiences with fake service dogs.
I'm not from North America and we don't really have those, but that must be very inconvenient for people with actual disabilities as they have to pay the price for others' entitlement. It isn't fair for them.
She is diagnosed with ptsd
From Manchester, right? That's horrible
It’s offensive to call these dogs service dogs when I know people who are blind with a service dog getting kicked out of public spaces and refused Ubers because of FAKE SERVICE ANIMALS! Another celebrity who ignores the disabled.
Toulouse is so cute, can’t believe he’s 11
He is serving, dog!
My dog is also getting older and looks like a black version of Toulouse so seeing him age makes me kinda get emotional 🥹😂 older dogs are just so special. And I def noticed she hasn’t had him out and about in public (such as in music videos or with her for public things) as much anymore which makes me wonder if his age is starting to catch up to him a little. And then I think of my dog. Oop there’s those damn emotions again. Ok imma stop. 😂😂😂Happy birthday Toulouse! 🎉
People can self train service dogs btw. Theres a lot not being shared in the picture that we don’t know about.
he cant even behave in public or walk on a leash
How would you know that? Are you surveying the dog and its every move? The dog is more well behaved than some of you.
huh? im an animal caretaker and deal with animals on a daily basis. i know what im talking about. i dont believe he’s a trained service dog based on his behaviour.
Congratulations that you're an animal caretaker. You still haven't answered my question. How would you know that her dog isn't behaved?
i literally told you already. its simple but telling, he tugs on his leash
I was asking for specific instances, asscrackhairs. Since you're the expert in all things dog training, right?
They answered your question already, chill... 😂
Tugging at a leash? Oh the horror! I ask for specific instances and per usual, they can’t provide anyway. Go back to the snark subreddit.
girl pipe down already 😭 loud and wrong
Oh you’re so sad. Please find a therapist immediately!
Has Toulouse gone through formal training? Because there's a big issue of real service dogs not being allowed in public places because of all the fake service dogs who cause issues.
