If it's not coming out the threads between either the nozzle and the block at the bottom or the heatbreak and the block at the top (which would indicate a wrong assembly), then it's most likely filament that's being caught and crawled up between the silicone sock and the block.
Heat up the hotend to ~120°C, then *turn off the machine*.
Then carefully take off the silicone sock and clean the parts by removing all that squished filament.
Reapply the sock and print sth. Once done, take off the sock again and inspect the top and the bottom to see if filament squishes out at the abovementioned threads. If that's *not* the case, everything is fine and you just need to clean your hotend more often.
this typically happens when the nozzle is not fully seated against the bottom of the heatbreak. Take the nozzle and heatbreak out of the heatblock and clean all the plastic off. You might need to chase a 6mm tap through the threads to fully clean them out. Now screw the nozzle in all the way and then back it out 1-1.5 full turns. Screw the heatbreak in until it bottoms out against the nozzle and then tighten the nozzle the rest of the way. Install it back into the heatsink and then heat it up to 170°.Retighten the nozzle. ALWAYS tighten the nozzle when it's hot. This should fix it and prevent it from happening again.
The most common reasons are that the nozzle was not tightened when hot and it's screwed in all the way.
