Progress kinda?

Ok. So I'm still not sure what's up Playing with all the temps and running tests The bottom one I printed a few days ago when all my prints were good The top one last night

You can see it's obviously too hot I ran it on the exact same settings on the machine and slicer.

Am I making progress? I think so? So many variables....

At least it's not getting so hot but obviously it still got too hot

Guessing... did the temp probe come loose? I imagine that if its not in the same spot, it would read a different temp.

LOL, sorry.

I could tell you on my A8 because you can easily see the sensor wire coming out of the heater block in the hot end.

I don't know exactly where it is on my Kobra because it's hidden behind the plastic cowling. But if you look at the replacement hot-ends, you can see two sets of wires coming out of it. The one labeled H is the heater, the other is the temp sensor.

That said, this is a longshot because the cowling protects it from getting snagged on things (unlike the A8). So before you start taking things apart, hopfully someone else has a better idea.

Took me a while to figure out the temp tower as you need to modify gcode gf orbit to change temps

But I found one set up for my printer on thingiverse with the temp drops. So it's printing now.
