Flight was delayed approximately 2 hours from pgd-cvg. Bag never showed. Guess what else never showed? Allegiant customer service…. No one at airport, no one available by chat, email, or phone. Website directed us to a firm to fill in. It’s beenn48 hours with literally no response from Allegiant. Phone calls have about an hour wait time and are met with nice but ultimately unhelpful agents. ‘No update yet on the location of the bag’. Umm, it was a direct flight….. 🙄. Screenshots of the text chat agent which I truly hope was AI as the agent was of zero help…. 🤪
Yep, no joy. They don’t have it. Also they are responsible for reasonable incidental expenses incurred due to delayed baggage (like clothes, shoes, underwear, toiletries). You can’t go on a shopping spree, but you need to be dressed…. 😝.

The fact that they said it might take one to two weeks to even get a response gives a wide window for what is reasonable to purchase…. 😢
Good luck ever getting that reimbursement. And if you do it will likely be for $25 or something. I would focus on getting the bag back and be done.
Allegiant is probably one of the worst. Their customer service in person and phone/chat are atrocious. I know I’m spending money on better airlines after the last couple times flying with Allegiant.
Call the allegiant BSO office and leave a voicemail, they are pretty good about reaching back out to customers.
Showed up on Monday, 6 days after flight. Will see how they do in reimbursement for the clothes purchases…. We got an email from allegiant that they were still looking for the bag yesterday, a day after it was delivered…. 🙃
So you got your bag back after 6 days of being lost? That’s good at least it was found. They lost my bag and I’m on day 3, trying to stay optimistic. Did you get reimbursed for what you spent during the time your bag was lost? Any reimbursement for the inconvenience?
That definitely sucks but for sure no airline is reimbursing you for new cloths lol.
Have you tried speaking to the airports lost luggage department?
