As the shortage continues, I would love to hear what your go-to snacks are to tame food noise. Feel like this could be of help as many of us don’t know when our shots will come in next.
- Apple with peanut butter
- Wheat thins
- Oikos yogurt (triple zero or pro) with chia seeds and granola
- Banana
- Protein shake (breakfast on-the-go or a snack)
Popcorn, if you air pop it then you can literally eat bowls full worth of it. I like to use my favorite BBQ rubs as a seasoning
Amen to that one. It's amazing how unhealthy so many methods have managed to make an essentially ultra-light food. 1/3 cup (unpopped) in the air popper, hit the bowl with like one spritz from my olive oil sprayer, then curry powder is my favorite flavor sprinkle. Lot of snack for under 200 calories.
Lesser Evil Himalayan Pink Salt Popcorn is so good! Like 110 calories for a big bowl - 14 carbs, 4g fiber, 0 sugar Highly recommend!
Yes. Love air pop. I add some Parmesan cheese as well.

Peanut butter on a hawaiian sweet roll slider size. Protein, long term filling, small sugar rudh..hits all my needs. And the peanut butter sort of stops the 'my mouth needs something to chew' feeling.
Whatever legume soup or leftover dinner that is in the fridge. Belle and Evans chicken tenders. 2 eggs. Tuna salad. Sausages (fresh, not processed). Cherry or raspberry smoothie with yogurt and sweetened with bananas. Banana with PB and milk.
My trainer has me eating four meals a day, each of which have to include protein. So my “snack” is just a tiny second breakfast or lunch. It works unbelievably well at reducing how much I want to eat each day.
Sunflower seeds! It takes so long to eat them and they’re so salty that it feels like cheating
Quest chips, Atkins protein bars, Armstrong Swiss cheese slices, nuts, rice crackers or celery w hummus or cream cheese, fruit, cucumber slices. I don't get very snacky anymore.

If I need to be eating something with no calories, though, I usually go for a couple sticks of gum. Keeps my mouth busy.
Baby carrots with a little hummus. Iced coffee, naked whey protein powder, oat milk creamer (if I blend it with ice it feels like a milkshake) Cuties Roasted chickpeas
For the hunger noise- I prefer protein packed snacks- Hard boiled eggs (I make a few Sunday night and put them in a ziplock in my fridge for the next couple days), Premier Protein shakes, Chomps meat sticks, 100 calorie packs of nuts, low/no sugar Greek yogurt (Sometimes I also add Almond or Peanut Butter powder/chocolate peanut butter powder for extra protein), and Quest protein chips. When I’m in the mood for a “carby” snack, I like Junkless brand granola bars. They aren’t perfect health wise, but a far cry from the worst when compared to others. If I need a kick of energy, I also like to drink a Celsius. Usually the caffeine gets me moving and I forget the hunger (these are also great before workouts, followed by one of the protein shakes post-workout for recovery).
For meals- I love the little pre-made salad bowls with a side of one of the above- It sounds strange, but they come with a mini fork, and that mini fork is a game changer… It slows me down and helps me pace myself though meals. I also make water goals before/during meals, so that I know that hunger isn’t coming from thirst. Of course- these items aren’t a cure, but having gone through shortages of Wegovy, then Saxenda, now Zepbound- I’m getting some experience with trial and error. 😅
