Justin thinking he should have won the ‘Wizard Of The Year’ award.

He's been raised to become the family wizard and fix Alex's mistakes, so it's understandable that he's pissed about it since that's what he's come to expect, especially all the awards it's been mentioned he's gotten. He's a high achiever in everything he does and with that comes high expectations. Having said that, he could have been more understanding than he was since Alex saved the entire world from evil, including him, and it's a yearly award so he could've just gotten it another year. I think his pride was hurt because he spends so much of his time living up to expectations and bailing Alex out so he's either expecting praise for meeting expectations, or not getting it because people don't know he's saved something and Alex is less about the thanks and more about what she can do next. Justin has consistently done things to keep himself in good standing, like Crumbs raving about him and expecting good things from him, so I think it's fair that he's mad about Alex getting it, like Max pointed out he's usually the one saving her, but Alex saving the wizarding world because of him being under the influence of evil definitely beats that, like others have said, he's the reason she had to save him and the world in the first place. I think it's just one of the crosses high achievers and those with a lot of expectations put on them need to bear. The times they make mistakes have higher costs attached to them.
