Celebrating boyfriends birthday tomorrow and we just want to spend the afternoon hopping around a few different bars with some friends. Cenote and citrus and cane are our usual go tos but we want to save those for a date night. What are some other funky places we could go to? Not just your typical pub, somewhere with either cool atmosphere, cocktails or good appie menu. Friends of Dorothy? Boom town?

Whistle Buoy is fun! You can grab food from anywhere in Market Square and they're chill for you to eat it there.
The Humboldt is great for cocktails. In the same building as Bartholomews.

Tora Tiki is fun for vibes.
Old Spaghetti lowkey if you need somewhere to carb load before hand and get liquored up. Cheap drinks.
Glo can be nice if not a tad crowded at times.
Vicious Poodle has always been nice when I've gone.
Mint is close to Cenote so that could be good logistically

End Dive is an awesome bar! Close to citrus too
end dive. they’re so good and lovely owners! also, boom + batten for their happy hour. clive’s is really great too but might be better for date night. superflux has good beer and cocktails, and artemis is a cool speak easy/retro future vibe. also, swans is always worth a visit. also, fathom but they’re a bit fancy.
i can make more reccos if you are more specific. i try all the bars/drinks i can in the city as a hobby and even have a hobby account for it

Tora Tiki just launched dole whip floats and the room there is super fun.
Saibt Frank's has a great later night menu. Hard to beat a 11pm corn dog.
Wind Cries Mary, and Bray's. Both have good food as well, Bray's has a fantastic patio.
Kanpai Asian Eatery & Bar neat little place for drinks and they serve food past 9pm lol

Starting off at Big Bad John's (or ending up). Also, Herman's Jazz Club is a very cool place. If you can find out whether the Victoria Event Center has anything cool going on right now (they often have burlesque or vaudeville acts), that's always really fun.
Pinhalla is a great newish pinball bar I love it there. Much different then just sitting around
Superflux Cabana!
Matadora on Fisgard. Sunday is all day happy hour to boot. Great tapas & drinks. Lovely space. Owners are awesome.
