But it looks like a software update. Seems like I need to take the car to the dealer to get the update (that sucks). 2022 Pro S. Anyone else get this?
What is the door handle recall about? I have a 2023 that does not always want to lock, is that the issue?
I have a 2022. I believe some of the handles aren't weatherproofed properly and can let water in which shorts out the circuit and can cause it to unlock while driving or something like that. I haven't had any issues with mine but am getting it done at the same time as my 1 year inspection.
Yeah, we’ve got a 2022 and also have a door handle recall listed. I thought it was originally only for the American-made 2023’s.
I still haven’t made my way for that and the inspection after X miles. I dread going as I live 1 hr away.
Took about 2 hours, including the other recalls (testing HV Battery modules for voltage drop and waxing the lift gate hinge seals). Lucky for me my dealer seems semi competent and is only 10 min away.
I have the same message in the app.
Got this today too. Anybody get this done yet? Want to know how long it'll take at the dealer.
Called. Taking it in next week. They said it could be 8 hours minimum. could take two days if the computer gets wonky. Also checking on battery cells.
And another update, the dealer cancelled saying they ain't ready yet. Lol.
Maybe this? 21 and 22 were made in Germany.

The US runs slightly different software from the rest of the world despite the same numbers so the website you linked doesn't necessarily apply. I think 3.5 in Europe supports plug and charge while we are yet to have it in the US.
In EU 3.2, if not even 3.1, added plug and charge.
Not sure why they are emphasizing “free of charge”. Were they going to charge us? Or rather ARE they going to charge us for OTA in the future?
Maybe it's just to clarify so that more owners are encouraged to go get the service done?
3.2.12 is supposed to be an over the air update. My app specifically states this. It’s likely the 3.2.1 is earlier update that has to be done in the shop. But it’s not specific to 3.2.1. In shop takes care of high voltage firmware update and possibly a module replacement. Take both car keys when you go in. They will need them. I have already done the door handle update and the high voltage update, and you did too so that’s why we are eligible for 3.2.12 OTA. Who knows, maybe it depends on your cell service availably. My car is using Verizon and has a good signal where I live. (Edit spelling)
Got it today too ‘22 RWD Pro S.
Got it, not sure what it will add to current system!!!
I got my notice today. Made an appointment for Wednesday. But will call Monday morning to confirm.
Not liking this.
Yesterday - so 2024 January 21 - I got the notification of the HV Battery Cell Module (93P7). The recall notice indicated it was issued 2023 March 29 - two weeks after I bought it. So it took them nearly a year to notify me!!!
Tried to schedule the appointment today. Was told they have to first order a part, related
I just got this today today, I have a door handle recall appt on Monday, so I will ask about it then.
