I know it's the one key version of the 2855 20, but a $1050 markup for it, really?...
Just what I need to change my tires twice a year
The One-Key has nothing to do with that price. They have other drills and impacts with One-Key for 1/10th that price.
The price is because that is their controlled torque model. Basically it uses magic to deliver the same torque repeatedly over and over.
is this machine invented by milwaukee? i never see it before
They do this kind of stuff when the product is out of stock, but instead of removing the listing (which removes reviews), they just jack up the price to where nobody in their right mind would purchase it.
Thought about that...
But, nope...
That's the retail price for it...
Just found one on Amazon for $130
With one key?...
No. You are not finding any legit Milwaukee half inch impact for $130 I’m not sure what they’re smoking but they might need to put it down
I paid $150 for a couple 2855s with a 5.0 CR battery a couple months ago. (that's $300 total, 2 compact impacts, 2 5.0 batteries)
You'll absolutely see certain impacts get that cheap if they offload a bunch of stock on Authorized retailer promos and people resell them on eBay/Amazon if the prices were right for flipping.
2854s (same as a 2855, 3/8" anvil) were on constant promotion throughout 2022 part way into 2023 and were getting under $115 fairly regularly for a while due to all the stock glut. 3/8" mid-torques got pretty cheap for a while too. Constantly thrown out on promotions and people flip them off to resell.
I don't even see Milwaukee offering the 2855 with one-key....
3060 20 for 3/8...
Or...
3061 20 for 1/2...
Good lord.
That's out of control.
The model numbers are out of control?
The price on those units.
i understand why this is so expensive, this is such a important machine for safety in construction, and it saves alot of time, so for some companies it is definetly worth it. but why (actualy insane) is this on amazon it should not be there because it need some advise.
You're paying for the TORQUE-SENSE precision, not for one-key. This one's meant for high-precision torque requirements.
