“The fish that’s not a fish…”
AHI don’t remember the conversation, but possible answers are
A. Cuttlefish, which aren’t a fish
B. Cod, which depending on what ichthyologist you listen to and what time period you’re talking about isn’t an actual fish, it’s more of a generally name given to multiple fish, although recently there has been a fish designated as “cod”
C. Similar to Cod, there’s a large number of species that get given generic labels in restaurants that are commonly not the fish you think they are, like flounder, sea bass, and drum.
Considering Jeremy is from Massachusetts like I am, my best guess is Cod
Not sure the video but it’s definitely AH and someone (possibly Jeremy) and Geoff are talking about how there’s a common “fish” that people eat that doesn’t actually exist. I think Geoff suggests anchovies but that wasn’t correct.
Does anyone remember what the answer was? Driving me absolutely insane.
