The Legend of Zelda - Tears Of The Kingdom

So I am doing my first run of TOTK and am seeing a LOT of posts asking "Is this enough for Ganon?" while then showing something that looks like it took them 200+ hours to get. Is he really that hard? Like what is the bare minimum that an average (or maybe slightly below average) player would need to have to beat him.

ALSO PLEASE NO SPOILERS!!! Honestly I'm just kinda goofing around doing stuff in Hyrule, but the story still matters to me, so please no spoilers.

I usually keep repairing all of my bows and I have over half of my bows as brand new.

I have 3 lynel bows, 3 Black Royal Guard bows, a Gerudo bow, a royal guard bow, and the charging bow. Every single one I will keep repairing after it gets weak.

I also do this occasionally on my Hyrule Shield to keep it strong and sometimes repair the same shields but shields break much easier for me.

Just finished the game finally and man that was so good. My first Zelda game was Ocarina and I was 8 or 9 when I played that. I remember that final fight so fondly there and I can tell this one is going to stick with me too.

The music alone just hits so hard and hearing those tunes we've heard for decades now interwoven throughout was so great.

I really don't understand how the final phase of that last fight ran on my day one switch. Just blew me away.

I only used mineru when i had to bc i dont really like her. What is so good about her? Am i missing something? Like whats the common way of using

As we all know there are a litany of grind projects in TOTK. I was curious…what is your least favorite PITA completion chore?

Examples: - Addison’s ‘Bolson’ signs - the “I need to find my friend!” Koroks - the ‘pictures for a stable’ quests - exploring every cave/finding all bubbulfrogs

…or any others you’ve noticed. Super curious to see if there’s one in particular that trumps all others or if it’s a more individual peeve.

I got the game on launch day last May, and since then I've finished grad school (again), moved, changed jobs, and had my second kid, but most importantly, I finally finished TOTK. This game absolutely rules, I even liked it more than BOTW (which I also loved). I didn't 100% it (because that's insane), but I did finish all of the shrines, lightroots, and side adventures. I was so jacked up by the end that beating Ganon's ass was kind of trivial, but honestly it was pretty satisfying given how much he was mouthing off. Anyway, no one in my regular life is impressed, but I thought this might be a fun place to share. Already looking forward to the next one.

Are there more abandoned ancient skulls like this? I came across one recently, hidden in a small corner of some mountains. I can't remember where it was, and didn't think to mark it at the time. Where are the Giant skulls?

I heard about the master sword glitch of not gaining its full durability back. Have they fixed that glitch im yet in 1.2.1?

It’s so funny to me how nervous I used to get to play the “scarier” parts of the game. Anyone who still gets nervous, I feel you lol. I’m still slightly nervous when going into the depths I haven’t traveled and running into gloom hands unprepared. But once I realized how much better the game gets when you just dive in and remember the game can’t hurt you, it was such a different experience. There’s so much left for me to do still!
