I've been looking up recipes for how to create a face mask at home, and I have some idea of what I might try, but I have a couple little details that I'd like to get input on:

I keep seeing banana recommended, but what stage are they talking? Pre-ripe with a little green, a normal one that you could eat, or an overripe one that you'd use for banana bread?

I also see honey on a lot of lists, would pasteurized honey work? Or does it have to be raw honey?

I use olive oil on my hair, and I plan to make it part of my face mask recipe, but I don't know if it's better to use regular or virgin/extra virgin?

And also, does anyone have any recommendations for recipes to use, or ingredients to include?
