Did anyone actually 'shame' Ben Shapiro for his looks? Like he looks fine. People mostly made fun of his takes and voice
People who don't like someones opinions attack them in every possible way. His looks, voice, takes, everything is on the table and he gets it from every direction.
I think he should have legitimate criticism but I feel that the personal attacks it always boils down to take away from the real discourse. People just can't help themselves though.
Its idiocy, and you are here championing it. This is literally the 2 minutes of hate. Just throw whatever insult you can at someone, even if it doesnt fit, even if it doesnt make any fucking sense. Just shout like an fucking idiot as someone digitally changes his face to a bleating goat. Does it make any sense? Who cares! Bad man is bad! Boo the bad man! Bad, ugly man! Bad, ugly, stupid man! Bad, ugly, stupid, mean, poopy-head man!
And you and other drooling idiots see no problem with this.
That's literally the currency he uses with his audience. Do you think he argues in good faith and sticks to discussion about policy goals? His audience is largely not receptive to normal discussion. They deal in degrees of cuckery, extremely specific morality based on narrow religiosity and hierarchy, etc. Issues with trans people and gay marriage boil down to "yuck idk what that is". He employs people like Matt Walsh, and idk whether it's worse if he's cynical or agrees with that utter grotesque.
Great! All of that is valid on point criticism, not just random ass insults!
Goofing on his masculinity is more effective than arguing against his shit takes at face value. The latter is not persuasive to his audience.
You called this dude a fucking idiot while crying about how immature insults are. You are a special one that’s for sure.
