Twenty years ago, it was much easier to support brand owners and their respective beauty brands. Even though Estée Lauder and Loreal had started to acquire brands by that time, there was enough individualism to find your favorite products and companies.
Today, that has just seems to have gone by the wayside. I can only think of two brands that Sephora carries in stores that are independently owned- Pat McGrath Labs and Danessa Myricks. Can you think of any others? What do you have in your own collection that isn’t owned by one of the top 5 beauty conglomerates?
