Seems fun until somebody doesn’t pop up on the other end.
Seems fun until a completely different person pops up on the other end.
In a 15th century Spanish explorer's outfit.
Like the plot of the movie “Time Trap”. Really underrated.
Randomly decided to watch this movie one Saturday night a few years ago. I actually really enjoyed the hell out of it
Is that the movie where they walk in the cave and time rapidly passes outside of it?
Yes it is!
I watched about half of the movie and never got the name of it. Gonna watch it tonight, thanks!
Hey no problem! I'm interested to know what you think of it!
Great one sentence horror premise.
Yeah, that's incredibly dangerous. It may seem harmless enough, but there's just a lot that can go very wrong very quickly in those spaces.
Someone turned to the right when entering and drowned in small hole thinking it was the main tunnel.
BOOORING
That’s not incredibly dangerous maaaan
I agree
Lmao forreal like if there was a different video showing I would agree but there were like 3 or 4 different spots to come up. So many openings
Guessing they scouted it out before they actually tried this. There's a lot of exits, so in this case it's not that dangerous if you have mapped it out beforehand.
There's places like this all over central and northern Florida. Kids have been swimming in them since the first kid ran over to his friend's cave and said "Hey, Thagnor, look what I found". Actually, what can be a little scary, the water is so clear that you can't tell how deep it is. I used to swim at a place called "Devil's Eye" near Gainesville, Florida. You can see the bottom of the cave but, as far as I know, nobody has ever been to the bottom. And, there's a tunnel that goes down into the darkness. Also, freaking cold water! Scary and fun.
Is that at devils milhopper?
It might be. Just a hole in the ground in the middle of a field with a few oak trees around it?
The big ass sink hole up the road from the Publix?
No. I used to go swimming there, too. I always had to work up my nerves to jump off the cliff. My crazy ass brother used to dive in head first. This was long before there was a Publx or anything else out there. Back in the late 70's and early 80's.
I lived there in 2103 - 2014. Not sure what it was like back then but there are stairs going down it now and it’s a bit more official. No way in hell I’d be jumping head first into it.
If it's the same place I'm thinking of, it was an old limestone quarry that had filled up with water over the years. We had to scale up the cliff hanging onto roots and shrubs to get back to the top. Just crazy!! LOL
Actually, I think the place I'm talking about is further out in the country.
I thought this could be Chassahowitzka
It is
Yep I was thinking this was Ginnie Springs.
Many have died...
Sorry but that's absolutely fucking terrifying. Imagine panicking under the rocks and having no way up like never in a million years LMAO
There’s a way up
Eh, to a person panicking under the rocks there's not.
That’s like 5 feet of rock with plenty of wiggle room. That would be an insanely pitiful death.
My drowning ass does not care if I'm about to die pitifully bro.
Many people drown in swimming pools with no rocks above them. Panic is the killer, it makes people forget how to swim/stand.
Your buoyant body would float you to the top w only minimal brain damage, it’s fiiiiiiine
yeah, exactly, that is why no person has ever die in open water or in a pool
then don't panic :)
You would panic at a place like that? I can understand on a deep and dark place, but not this one, inst even that deep I think, but I think there's always someone for these cases, so yeah
Man, people panic and drown in 100% entirely uncovered outdoor pools.
Well. Didn't think about that. Good point
There was a guy who drowned in one of those Lazy Rivers where you just float on a tube. And that’s only waist-high water… all he had to do was stand up.
The simple addition of water to any situation just freaks some people out.
damn, that's really terrifying, I think I'm kinda ignorant to these things, but maybe it's better for me, so I'll not get these fears, swimming is part of my life practically
You ever bought a 5 gallon bucket?
There's an image of a child on the side of every single one because when you add water to an upside down child in a bucket, they drown.
You can literally see where you can go to breathe because they sun rays lol. People are acting like this is some extreme spelunking
yeah, I can understand people panicking at all but, I really can't see this place scary or anything else besides beautiful, and cool fishes, talassofobia is fucked up
The surface is not even 2 meters above
I love seven sisters. It’s not scary at all, not very deep and very wide! Lovely to do when it’s not crowded.
There is a very tiny tunnel at the head of the spring crack that only small shouldered people can get through but I loved it
Where is this?
Chassahowitzka River in Florida
Holy fuk, I thought that's where it was... I live in Inverness, I have been to this place...
I haven’t been in so long. Should schedule Reddit seven sisters day.
Let's go...
Isn't that in England?
No, no, it’s still terrifying 😬
but this isn't that deep, very bright and etc, I did think Talasso was more fucking deep ass places where you can even see what's around you, or places way too dark
It’s like early game subnautica
I came looking for copper, and I found gold titanium
That was 30 seconds that taught me I have claustrophobia.
whole bunch of nope
At first it seems like something terrifying, and then it is!
going into a cramped hole filled with water doesn't exactly spell fun to me
Wonderful! But also delicious. I feel like taking a dip in that blue water!
My healthy amount of claustrophobia says no
I would dare to navigate underwater, with that clarity, but at night, I wouldn't do it even while drugged hahaha
I free dove this spring at night with a flashlight in a plastic bag over a dare. I'm old now. To be young and stupid again...
Ya fuck all that dumb shit.
Looks like Florida. Where is this…?
Chassahowitzka River in Florida
Seven Sisters, UK
Wow. Looks like Florida. There’s a three sisters there. I’ve never seen comparable springs like this
It is Florida. 7 sisters spring on the Chassahowitzka river. I live an hour or so away and have been many times.
I thought it was Silver Springs
There are hundreds of springs in Florida yeah who knows
There’s a lot of places named after these sisters!
I haven’t been to the Seven Sisters in the UK, but this is definitely the Seven Sisters Spring in Florida. I visited there back in 2017ish.
Just a little north of Seven Sisters is the Three Sisters Spring where you can swim with manatees in the winter. The water wasn’t the warmest (in Feb) but I absolutely love manatees and had an amazing experience.
Oh yeah, swimming with manatees is a surreal experience.
Beautiful!
Uk???
Nope.
When I went there was no fishies :( or algae grass. Lame. Looks prettier here
Where is it?
Chassahowitzka River in Florida
Seven Sisters, UK
Holy shit, that looks beautiful!
No no, this is absolutely fucking terrifying. Top 10 things I would never fucking do and I am an extremely confident swimmer.
no, its still terrifying
Good thing there are no fish that bolt to you and explode
Nope
I can't hold my breath this long...
That is one weird Backrooms
for someone who has phobia of underwater stone, this is scary af. I get that it looks beautiful to other people but I can barely breathe watching this video lol
Hell to the fucking no thank you
Underwater caves are a big no no for me. Idc if they are small or beautiful. One wrong thing and it's over. Will someone see you there? "Maybe he took another route" or someone jumps in in the moment you come over. I'm fine i stay at the surface.
Springs in Florida?
Yes...
Was just there! Did you guys see manatees?!
I have before, but haven't been over there in years...
It’s a great place to be! I hope you make your way back for some R&R!
Maybe one day...
There are a lot of these in Hawaii. They are old lava tubes, called boiling pots. But they are NOT safe. The water in them is moving deceptively fast. If you go down one hole, you may pop out of the next one, but get sucked right back under.
Where is this? Florida?
It looks like a place in Brazil called Bonito. If it's not, it's very similar.
👍
Anyone else hold their breath watching this?
Absolutely not for me!
This sub is dying
I held my breath with him and comfortably made it through.
This is like that movie OLD
I free dove this at night with a flashlight in a plastic bag. It was terrifyingly beautiful. Blue light bounced off the walls from the flashlight and catfish filled the main tunnel.
At first it's not terrifying...... Roflllllllll that's ridiculous
10/10 would drown there
Just promise to stay in the safe shallows and don't go to the back of the aurora!
But then a rock cuts you 😭
I'm still not doing it
This random YouTuber Sean has taught me to never dive nor cave NOR mix both of those together...
For those that needs more phobias in their live, you can out the Scary Interesting YouTube channel.
You never know how horrible a death you can get until you heard them stories.
Other people here getting freaked out by the thought of miniscule underwater caverns but my mind just imagined a scenario where you dip in there, turn a couple corners and come up face to face with a hungry gator or crocodile or something.
Nope!
100% terrifying all the way through
No no, you had it right in the first half, this is fucking terrifying!
How do I summon the music bot
Nah! Gives me the fucking willys!
Ah, yes. I can't forget my phobia of randomly passing out underwater for no reason.
Black Bikini
I would do it if it was easy for me to get low underwater
Nope
Nope nope nopeity nope nope
Hells to the nahh
😯
I have done this in a cold place dark water ( British Columbia) with rushing water . I was with a bunch of friends who little sister did it , so I did it . I followed the light and thank goodness everything turned out ok . I really should not have done it . 🤮peer pressure. Ooof
Um.. I need to be here
These are springs in Florida, we have a bunch.
Reminds me of watching my brother play donkey Kong
That doesn't actually seem too bad, there's light and several places where you can pop back up
Would still terrify the bollocks out of me
At first it seems like something terrifying, but yes
Subnautica. Exploring the shallow zone caves.
Anyone else holding their breath watching this?
No way. What if something got snagged on something???
I have thalassophobia thats a no, no.
Yeh this isn't scary to me personally, there are so many openings so, I couldn't see myself getting stuck.
AC Black Flag?
Don't fucking cave dive, like not even a little bit. Don't fuck with subaquatic caves. People die from dumb shit like this all the time.

Where is this place located?
I can already see a horde of tourists and "influencer's" coming to that site.
Probably leaving all their trash, "necessities" and who knows what.
Send me a vid on how it looks in 10 yrs.
Edit: if I'm alive till then lol
Good
Strong subnautica vibes. I love it.
Anyone else see the trex head in the rocks?
What is the name of the music in this video? I keep hearing the melody but I don’t know the name of it
Subnautica? Anyone?
Looks fun lol I'd love that. I'm not sure I can hold my breath that long tho
Still terrifying - no way would I be able to force myself to do that.
I knew people that died in that dynamic
Where was the terrifying part?
Yeah still nah I'm nah no fucking way I'm doing that
