does riven win level 1 vs darius?

Riven Question

i’ve seen people saying riven wins level 1 vs darius and everytime i limit test the theory i always lose.

if darius has boneplating and start w he can ghost riven down if she use all her qs

maybe the theory is if darius starts q then maybe riven wins level 1?

i know riven can pop boneplating with q3 level 1 but darius can still ghost you down and ur either dead or low hp in the 6 secs ur q is on cd (q extend)

anyone has any knowledge on this, or is it best to concede level 1 and wait for level 3

As far as I'm concerned Riven only wins if Darius skills q lvl 1. Pop boneplating with 3rd q then smack him with empowered autos till your q is up again. If he starts w don't bother. You lose.

So a good Darius would always start w then lol, meaning that riven should lose the lvl 1

this isnt true riven wins the lvl 1 even if darius starts w and has boneplating

you need to get all 3 of your passive autos off on him then you ignite and your next rotation of q’s with conq stacked+ignite will kill him

edit: you NEED dblade or you will lose 100%, also this scenario works best if you two meet each other before the first wave arrives

If you pop bone plating with Q3 and q delay and have ignite vs ghost, I think he either doesn’t have the time to chase and run you down with ghost since your q comes up too soon, or you can turn and just all in as soon as your q comes back up with faster Q combo. But I’m just a lowly diamond peak player so I’ll defer my opinion to anyone who has more experience

i tried exactly that, at level 1 when the waves meet i can hit him with third q after extend to to pop bone plating, afterwards to auto into fast q.

i always only do about 400-500 damage. at then end of fast q

however during the fast q darius can get and aa w aa in before the final third q and then he can run riven down as his w is only 5 sec cd.

darius always has about 150-200 hp left from full. maybe 250 if he pots.

Not saying it'll work for sure, but have you tried it with cut down and igniting early for conq stack? cut down should outperform the others here

i respect his kill pressure lvl 1 but ima all in his ass at lvl 2. just play for the wave and dont get shoved in. whoever hits2 first wins

when he gets in range or you about to lvl 2 start trading (need to be able to lvl up fast or during fight) Q1-aa-q2-aa-w-aa-q3-aa + ignite that is like 980~ dmg with a dblade. and just in case i cannot emphasize this enough: DO NOT STOP AUTO ATTACKING. Even if you run out of passive charges, keep autoing because conqueror matters.

u have to utilize Cut down and and do a few auto to stack your Conqueror Even if you have Q up after the first Q3 in order to stat check darius lv1.

Too risky. You win at level 3 and 6 so why all in early? Few melee champs beat Darius level 1

Pathing and wave management plays a crucial part. You will only do around 60% of Darius HP with a full Q combo. If he ever lands 5 stacks, you are dead so you can’t all in unless you’ve done 40% of his HP beforehand.

If you trade with him past his minion wave and can’t get away from there, he can run you down with ghost + W and you will lose 80% of the time even if he’s like 20% HP.

Just remember 5 stacks = you’re dead. Avoid getting to that point unless you are fully confident that you can kill him before he chunks ur entire healthbar.

Fuck NO … His Passive is NOT a game. You can evenly trade at level 1 so long as he doesn’t have ghost or ignite.
But I HIGHLY advise you Just trade and give him the mix at level 3

And as many are saying , proc his bone plating carefully.

A better way to put it is that she can win, she doesn’t just win automatically, no one rlly does vs darius

Riven doesnt win the all in . The only way for riven to win is to pop the bone plating , trade once more with q-auto , extend q and hit q2 and q3 if possible, if you managed to do all that while you kept your conqueror up , you can trade one more auto to keep the conqueror up and all in with fast q and ignite . It needs insane spacing to pull this off and most of the time it is not worth doing. Make sure to hold your q3 because good Darius players will flash it at level 1.

so this is my knowledge on this You win this if he starts Doran's blade Q You can win if starts Doran's blade W (probably will int a few times) You can win if he q and starts Doran shield You win if you hit 2 first You lose if he pops your bone plate and he hits first ability + 1 or 2 autos You lose if he hits 2 first Someone higher elo pls correct any mistakes 😭I hate this MU too

I defenitely won against Darius Bone plating and W lvl1 by doing what you guys said. Doran blade mandatory ofc.
