You all know the pervasive Hollywood trope about the wealthy older man and his young beautiful wife who or may or not be on his second or third wife. I was curious if anyone who has seen this trope in your daily life? And how often if so?

I am mostly referring to "serious" long-term relationships, not casual flings where both parties know it's temporary or sugar baby arrangements. Hollywood isn't real life (mostly), even though it's a common albeit patriarchal trope. I found some articles and studies that most women would prefer to have a partner who's around the same age or within 10-12 years of her age younger or older, especially if she's wealthy and educated in her own right and has a strong idea of what she wants in a partner. Age gaps when the couple is older, like a 35 year old dating a 50 year old, is generally okay because the life stages are typically similar, causing less turmoil, but they can be mentioned to if you see them in your daily life.
